Henry's Bright Idea (The Walnut Animal Society)

This is such a sweet, adventurous story, with lots of space for kids to use their imaginations. The illustrations are beautiful, and the characters are so sweet. I'm excited for future books in the series!We have had a Henry the Fox doll since my son was born, and he is now 19 months and LOVES his Henry. He sleeps with it every night. When we got this book, and I showed him that Henry had a book about him, he got SO EXCITED, and now we read it WITH Henry at least 2x a day. We love this little "society" so much, and love that even at such a young age he is so into it. I'm sure his excitement, curiosity and imagination about this little world will only grow with his age!(PS this photo is *NOT* staged! He did this himself!)

Bought this book for my niece and when I got it in the mail I decided to buy a second copy so I could have one too :) No doubt she'll love it, she just started Kindergarten and she craves adventure and creativity. Will also earn me some extra points with her mom, this book is just her thing. Waiting to give it to her in person. But I'm excited to have my own copy on my shelf. As an artist, I found the quality of the story and artwork was on point, and reminded me of books from my childhood. Quite useful for stirring up those thoughts and emotions. Great work!

We own Henry the Fox. When we saw that there was a book about him, we HAD to have it! The book was just as delightful as our Henry the Fox. This first book highlights Henry and his friend, Eleanor the Bear. But, we were introduced to all the characters from Walnut Animal Society. They are ALL adorable! We can’t wait to read the adventures of all the animals in the upcoming books in the series.Henry’s Bright Idea has a clever story line and is beautifully illustrated. We highly recommend it for children. (And, for their grandparents!)

The illustrations are lovely and the characters are appealing. The story is cute too and my daughter likes the book. I only wish the ending were a bit more clear, as it's a little abstract for a 3-y.o. to grasp.

My daughter loves this book and insists I read it to her every night. She loves the illustrations- and so do I- so beautiful and peaceful. Can't wait for the rest of Walnut Animal Society's members to tell their sweet stories. Hope they are all as wonderful as Henry's Bright Idea.

I bought this for my nephew on the way after finding out he was being named Henry. It's a cute story and has adorable illustrations. I think his mom is going to love it and I hope one day he enjoys having a book with his name in it!

I think this book is just ok. Certainly the pictures are so darn cute that I enjoy looking at it every time my son picks it out at night. He loves it (he's 5). He doesn't seem to be bothered by the ending like I am.

I've ordered this book 5 times now to give for gifts after falling in love with the copy I bought for my son. The Walnut Animal Society is a creative group of furry friends that encourage a child's imagination, as does this sweet book. We can't wait to see more of this series.

Such a darling book ! Cute and beautifully illustrated. It s a story about friendship, perfect for first readers and younger children too, as they will greatly enjoy the illustrations and come to love the chatacters !
