Works Well
This the second Redi Shade I've purchased for my rv when the stock shades failed. It's easy to install. HOWEVER, do NOT rely on the two-sided tape to hold it in place - it'll sag quickly and probably pull away soon. I used three small screws to keep it in place. I still give it 5 stars because it's lightweight and well made.

Do not buy
A waste of money, a hassle, and damaged plaster. Do not buy these. There are permanent but easy to install blinds that cost the same and work much better. I thought I would save myself some work, and ended up tripling the work. I have bought two of these before in the light filtering version. Those work ok except one had bad adhesive which I fixed with 3M temporary hanging strips. Both of these still work, possibly because they are lighter (weight wise) and in rooms where we don't put them up and down often. These blackout ones are a mess. They are too heavy first of all, which causes the adhesive to totally fail, but the adhesive is still strong enough to pull the paint and plaster off of walls (worst of both worlds). Also, the material is more resistant to pulling, so 1) both blinds I bought would no lower all the way (5-8 inches less than they should (leaving lots of space for light to come in- sorta defeats the purpose of blackout) and 2) puts more tension on the adhesive when you pull. The blackout version also is not as good looking as the light filtering is - looks way cheaper. The other big problem is that both blinds I ordered had defective cordless up/down mechanisms that were not noticable until they were actually hung. Both hung crooked (VERY crooked) when up OR down no matter how much troubleshooting I did. The bigger issue is that the company won't take returns if they have been cut and hung. Their warranty has so many loopholes that there is basically no real warranty and the company is not reachable by email or phone. Your only option is an online chatbot on their website that doesn't always appear on pages and will just blow you off without allowing you to write to a real person. The process I had to go through to get this resolved was OFFENSIVE from both Amazon and the company (which did ZERO) and I still had to pony up to get my plaster and paint fixed. Avoid these at all costs.

Really Loved These, At First!
Don't buy unless you can solve problem of adhesion.Love everything about them...ease of installation, blackout feature, ease of use and maintenance and still look pretty but for adhesion issue from the first. Adding more adhesive, trying double sided tape, super glue, NONE of it worked. Everytime I think my "fix" did the trick I am back to squre one two days later. It is not the window frame but the adhesive used by the company as it is always the same, but different location on each shade, that start to sag a couple days later and my fixes are still attached to window sash/frame.I bought 2 and I am on a fixed income so buying new ones not an option at this price. I have also wished the company offered a fix.

Easier than curtains, truly blackout
These blinds are great and so easy to install/remove. They're super renter friendly and truly blackout light.Theres two reasons Id give these only 4/5 stars.First, I have four of these and one has come unstuck and fallen off the window after about 2 weeks of use. No big deal though, I just put some command strips on it and put it back up. Other reviewers have suggested screwing them in which would also work, but isn't as renter friendly.Second, the 30in size is only actually 29inches wide, so if you have a 30in wide window you'll end up having half an inch gaps on either side of the blind which can let in quite a bit of light, so if you have 30in wide windows I'd suggest splurging on the larger size and cutting it to exactly 30 if you want to most effectively block out light with no gaps. In the same vain, the measurements printed on the blinds that indicate where to cut them are skewed half an inch. For example, if you have a 28in wide window and cut at the 28in mark on each side of the blind, the blind will actually end up measuring 27.5 once cut. Again, if you seriously want blackout with no gaps, I'd suggest cutting to the 28.5in mark on the blind to get a tight fit with no gaps.

Perfect blackout behind my shutters.
These were a wonderful solution to my shutters that let in too much light. Easy-ish to cut (do not use a serrated edge) and easy to install. I read other reviews that mentioned that the adhesive did not hold for long so I opted on using my staple gun to give them extra adhesion. These are lovely, block ALL light and work well. I am very pleased.

So easy and custom fitting
It was challenging to cut, but not impossible. Make sure you use your good kitchen knife to cut. Love the fact that they fit so snug since it’s cut to measure. As other reviewers mentioned, the adhesive is really bad. I bought 2 and both fell off within a week. Just add a roll of double sided gorilla tape to your order and I am back at enjoying the blinds. They completely block out the sun which is great considering I have them in a bedroom. Had it not been for the adhesive, it would have gotten 5 stars for sure.

Not as described
I had to give 1 stars but really this should be 0 stars. It’s impossible to get this cut straight on the first, second or third time. It’s not as simple as they say and a decent knife was ruined in the process. Once it was finally cut straight on the end, we installed it. All seemed amazing until night time and realized that the styrofoam in the bottom rail didn’t go all the way through so light came through the plastic. Also the bottom rail was warped and wouldn’t sit flat, so again not a great seal. It was just for our cabin and we figured we could deal with it. We came back out the next weekend and found the blind on the floor. It did not stay adhered like it said. We tried a bunch of different things to get it to adhere, nothing worked. We are in the process of returning this hunk of junk. Save your money and buy something that is better quality. Thank goodness Amazon is so amazing about their return policy. They get a 5 star for that.

HAPPY!
This blind quality is better than I have expected. It is quite sturdy but pretty light for a female to hang it up on the wall. I have it covered for my East side window which blackouts the sunlight very well for the early morning. My room temperature went down about 2-3 degrees after it's installed. I was lucky enough not having to trim the width as it fits perfectly. Length though is not long enough. I had to use a velcro tape as the glue was not strong enough. It's very well packaged and arrived the next day. Overall it's a great product for the value!! If you are looking for an easy installation, blackout, well made blind: this is the ONE!

Effictive length 55" not 64"
The Good -The blinds were very easy to install. They block light very very easily. The Meh -The cutting process wasn't great. The plastic is very brittle and started to split at the bottom. However it wasn't anything that was too noticeable and the plug prevents it from being a major issue. The Bad -This is a 60" blind It claims to be 60"- 64" It is technically that size how ever you will not get it to get to that length. It was place in a 58" square window and could not reach the bottom and stay at length pulling up about 3 inches. Which means it can not effectively cover more than 55" 9" less than is claimed. That is a significant difference. I was prepared for that, as such I am satisfied with it however if you need it in a window longer than 55" the blind does not have enough weight at the bottom to counter the pull of the accordion design initially. Had the pull back been another inch I may have been looking for a refund. The Unknown - as it uses adhesive I do not know how long or how well it will hold. I have had issues in the past with even 3M adhesive not standing up to the wild and varied temperature and humidity changes in Niagara. The Missing the Cut Guide was missing from the package making sizing it a little more difficult particularly at just a 2" trim.
