This splatter screen has been working great for me, I use it a lot since getting it. I also put it in the dishwasher and it still looks new, no problems there. I mainly use it for items you don't want to actually cover like steak and burgers. Unless you have the heat on high enough to cause smoke you're not going to get "splatter through" at least not very much. I cooked a steak in cast iron hot enough to smoke the place up and very little came through and I didn't mess up my clothes with spatters. Clean up was much easier. Works great with spaghetti sauce too. handle stays cool and has a good grip. Fits in Dishwasher and simple to hand wash if you don't wait till dried. I don't set it on the counter with the feet because my sink is next to the stove but they do work fine for that, won't burn your counter.

This is probably going to be the strangest review ever! I was up late one evening half asleep, browsing through Amazon. I'm not sure how, or why but I barely remember placing an electronics order. The next day, my confirmation email showed I had bought a cooking utensil!!!! I was kinda shocked, I do a lot of cooking but typically by from high end Chef Supply stores. I started to cancel the order. But thought "what the heck, maybe I'll use it". And? Use it I do! Almost every meal!!! This is the coolest utensil I have!! I cook a lot of HOT SIZZLING STUFF, and never bothered to by one of the old style ones because they looked cheap! This thing is great!!!! Built like a Cadillacs strong, and for some reason retains what it collects, so you can set it down with minimal mess, and it has built in legs so there's no contact between countertop and screen! BEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE. I LOVE THIS THING

This spatter screen does not quite fit my 13" pan -- instead it sits on the edge of the pan & doesn't lie flat. Waste of money. My old, far less expensive spatter screen for 13" pans covers the pan just fine.

Well constructed, works well in keeping oil splatters to a minimum. The only thing I dislike is the use of plastic on the handle. If you fry then finish cooking in the oven, you cannot use this product as the plastic handle will melt. I cut the plastic handle off with a utility knife and used a silicon handle for cast iron pans as a replacement. If it had an oven safe handle, I'd give this product 5 stars.

I was looking for a splatter screen to replace an old one that was rusty and not doing the job. When I use this one, my cooktop is covered with oil. I can actually see the oil popping out through the screen.

This screen is a little too large for what I use it for. It gets in the way when I try to strain things and doesn't rest flush with the top of my pots because it touches the handels. I also wish this product had some sort of locking mechanism so I wouldn't have to awkwardly hold it to strain, move, or keep it on some pots.

For many years now, every time I would saute or fry something on the stove and then have to clean up the greasy splatters afterward, I would say "one of these days I will get a splatter screen". Well that day finally arrived. I ordered the Ruki splatter screen because of the great reviews and because it had the grip on the handle. It was the perfect choice, it works great! I am kicking myself for not getting one of these years ago. I have not tried using it as a cooling rack or as a strainer so I cannot judge how well it performs those alternate tasks. I have used it only for the original purpose, to keep the greasy splatters contained and away from my stove top. What a time saver! No more scrubbing the stove top to remove the mess of cooking. I also like the fact you can pour liquids right through the screen. I have used it on my medium size skillet as well as my large skillet and it works equally well on both. I also like the fact that it has the little "feet" to rest it on the counter top so if you need to stir your food you don't have to put the greasy screen directly on the counter. Cleaning the screen is easy. I almost always hand wash my dishes so I just put it in the sudsy water and wipe it around with the dish cloth, rinse, drain dry and it's ready to go again.I will definitely recommend this item to family and friends.

This does the job it was made for. Plain and simple. I use it over large and small pans/pots and it prevents the splatter from occurring. Also handles high heat. This is my first and possibly last splatter screen purchase. I have no complaints on this.
