Amazing Customer Service - Fabulous Product
This review is long overdue. It will be long, but follow it to the end to see why they got 5 stars... it should be more!I purchased the system for when we are boating. We spend the summer on our boat in remote areas of Canada and my husband uses hearing aids so docking conversations sometimes get loud, if you know what I mean. Our boat is over 50' and in windy conditions it gets challenging to dock. This system was recommended by friends. When we received the system I charged it and we tried it in our home and it seemed to work perfectly. We used it successfully twice then it started not pairing and it got very frustrating. I had never used the system before and so didn't know what I was doing wrong or if it just didn't work good. Keep reading, things get better. We were finally at a little tiny fishing lodge in BC that had wifi for guests so I contacted Amazon. A great kid walked me through all the steps but it still would only pair every second or third try. He told me how to get in touch with EarTec. I emailed and I think in less than 2 hours I had a response! We connected by phone, then. Same day! There is a 3 hour time zone difference so I was thrilled. I talked to an amazing person named Scott. We again went through all the steps and he said I was doing everything right and they would ship me a new set with a return label to ship the set I had back. The only problem was that we were on our trip for another 6 weeks. But we had family flying up to join us in a month. He said he would ship anyway and I could return the others when we got home. Really? He trusted me? Well, due to a family medical emergency I had to fly home for a week and the new set came while I was home. Great timing. Man, what a difference! The replacement set is awesome and works so well. It is much clearer to talk and it pairs correctly every time. Scott emailed me several times and was probably the best customer service person I have talked to and worked with in years. The company stands by its product, is responsive and I recommend the company and this product to everyone!

Absolutely worth the price!!
We purchased these headsets after trying over and over with 2-way and other radios to have a communication solution in our side by side. The price tag kept scaring us away but we finally broke down and bought them after talking with a product rep and finding out they would be OK for use in the dirt. They are FANTASTIC! Not only are they comfortable (which is a big statement coming from me since I have nerve damage near my ear and in my neck so even comfortable sunglasses are hard to find) but they block out much of the external noise and the noise cancelling mic works great! We can easily talk with each other without having to push a button and the transmission is extremely clear. Add to it that there are no cords to deal with and these headsets are total winners! We love them!!

Purchased for Datacenter and works well in that environment
After searching for a while, we bought a set of these for use in a datacenter environment. They provide a moderate amount of noise suppression with the over the ear model. The microphones pickup some of the ambient fan noise but you can push the mic upwards and it automatically mutes. This feature allows for quiet when not collaborating with someone in the datacenter. Battery life is good and overall happy for the price and performance of these headsets.

non-operational when purchased
I was prepared to give this product a 5 star rating as it was exactly what we wanted for communication while docking. However, I received the radios yesterday, charged the batteries overnight, and tested them this morning. The Master worked fine, the Remote did not receive nor transmit with any consistency, and when it did the quality of the transmission was sub-standard. The radios were returned this morning, after we tried numerous common-sense troubleshooting steps. For the price, quality operations are to be expected; thus a one star rating. I personally would not purchase an Eartech product after my experience and the other critical ratings. Too bad, as it looks good.

Great Value For Intermitant Use Compared To Sometimes Brand
I researched and did a trial of the Sonetics brand, which is vastly superior, but costs 10 times as much. Yes, a Sonetics set of 3 is about $6k. Then I found these. I was bummed that they don't work with a hardhat, but could be modified (maybe). But for the price, they are great. Because I have asthma, I can't yell over the sound of the pumps and compressors/manufacturing machines. So and I'm training people or meeting an engineer or contractor in the manufacturing plant or pump room, these are priceless. I bought the sanitary disposable microphone and ear pad covers and disinfectant wipes to assure each user the units are clean. They reach about 200 yards line of site, about 150 if I can't see the other person. I have rave reviews from different trips I took for work, and I have used them 4 times at home for projects. They're great for felling trees because your spotter can tell you what's happening, or if you're trimming branches and the chainsaw person has himself up in the tree and the spotter is telling you what to cut. they're also great if you're working in an attic and there's someone downstairs that needs to start and stop machinery. If you are working on a large machine and you are on the other side of it and can't see your work partner, it's perfect to make sure nothing unsafe happens, such as a restart after preventative maintenance or realignment. You could also use these if you were in a tree stand and you had multiple people in multiple stands and needed to speak to each other. You can speak softly and still be heard. Bird watching, shooting, lawn work in teams etc. There is a slight buzzing at times in the master headset but it's easy to ignore. The batteries are very cheap so be sure to pull those out of the headsets when you're not using them. Follow the directions that come with the kit to the T and it will all be well. The batteries lose their charge in the bag, and I had a charger go bad after about a month so I bought the larger charger and extra batteries. The headsets are extremely lightweight so not as durable as the Sonetics brand, but for the price which is 10ยข on the dollar you can't beat it. Also, I bought the three pack and you can only add a fourth headset if you want. adding new headsets to an existing set is a bit of a chore but the instructions are on the website. If you get a sonatics brand and spend $10,000 you can put five or even more on. But for my purposes and the intermittent user's purposes, you can't beat the value. I would give them four stars except that I have tried vastly superior brands so I take a star off for the sound quality and the cheap batteries. As of this review I've had them for 5 months and use them 9 times.
