I have been wanting to purchase a pair of barefoot sneakers for a while. In my research, I found these Zero-Drop shoes, which to my knowledge means there is no toe to heel height difference like you would get in a typical running shoe. These also have a wide toe box, which is super comfy and roomy. These have enough cushion still to make it feel like you're not walking barefoot, but enough room around your toes to make it possible to splay your toes and get the "barefoot" experience.The only con is the tongue. The material is stiff and a little uncomfortable, but after a few wears it didn't bother me anymore.These are a great shoe for anyone looking for a roomier toe box or to work their way to a barefoot shoe altogether. Would highly recommend and will buy again!

I have been wearing these shoes for running and LOVE THEM. the tan pair have over 300 miles on them and are holding up well. I marathon trained and ran my marathon in these and has ZERO blisters post marathon. The wear on the tread is due to my gait, but the little side peice is floppy but I'd put that to the amount of wear on them. They do take a while to break in for running, so I wear the blue ones at work and daily activities so that when I retire the tan, they are ready for running. I do not recommend running in them right out the box. The wide Toe box is lovely and they are so comfortable. My first pair of zero drop shoes and I like them a lot. The tongue does bite, so I would NOT recommend low cut or no show socks or the tongue will rub that spot raw. I wear features socks with the tabs and have no issues except for the first time or two wearing them. The laces also almost never come undone, they're not slick which is super nice! Least favorite part about these is just the long break in period but I plan to keep running in these!

I bought these shoes for a trip to Rome. Everyone always says wear comfortable shoes. What attracted to me to these is that they are the shape of your foot. I do not like closed toe shoes because they pinch my big toe. These looked perfect for crowding. Amazon recommended a 1/2 size up so that's what I ordered. While everything else fit well, my big toe was right at the end and I know it would be uncomfortable after a lot of walking. I reordered a whole size up and those are what I am keeping. They are so comfortable. Like walking with slippers on. BUT they are very wide. I don't have a narrow foot, just medium width, but they are very wide. They look rather dorky, but I am keeping them anyway. It's worth the comfort. The other thing is the laces are a pain to cinch up (whatever they are made of) and the tongue is uncomfortable. I will wear socks. I flip them outward and lace over them sometimes. They would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the minor things. I wear an 11 shoe normally but ordered a 12.

I have a wide foot. Have always had to upsize for shoes to fit. After wearing the shoes for months I put a pair of my old shoes on. Even though they fit fine before (I thought) they totally made my toes feel cramped. I couldn't wear them anymore, they were so uncomfortable. I will definitely buy these again.

I'm an Altra girl through and through. I wear Lone Peaks on the trails and Escalante's for regular day use. I have been wearing Torin's for my indoor workouts, particularly on the treadmill. My old one's were about done so I got these to replace. I love everything about them except the tongue. It comes up high, is stiff and cuts into my foot/leg. I thought about fighting through it but it's stiff enough it would most likely cause some problems there. Super disappointed!

This was my first pair of Altras and I am in love. I am used to wide toe box shoes but wanted a tennis shoe with cushion that also kept the toes roomy, this was it!! I can walk ALL day in these without my feet getting tired or feeling cramped toes. I have Morton's Neuroma and ball of foot pain frequently. NOT WITH THIS SHOE!! This is the only shoe that I can reach my 10k steps daily with! Quality is great, I've worn these daily for months now and they still look & feel good! Traction is good. I wish they had more colors.

The toe width is perfect, however, 1/2 size smaller than actual size. Toes rest against very hard toe tip making it very uncomfortable. The tongue is also hard and thin, like a plastic cardboard? Attempted to purchase the 7.5 but it was almost double in price!

Love the room and cushion but the tongue is very hard and will be pushing into your leg. It’s not unbearable but definitely not comfortable. Might try either cushioning them or cutting them down to help.

I have previous iterations of the Torin and the sole on this was even better than previous and so comfy. But the tongue is a very stiff material and very uncomfortable. I wore at work and by the end of the day I had horrible abrasions on my ankle from it digging in. No way could I tolerate that running. I am likely going to trim the tongue with a razor blade to see if it helps (cause the shoes themselves are wicked comfortable). I purchased for teally cheap so whatever but I’d be choked if I’d purchased at full price. A serious design flaw in an otherwise amazing shoe.

Bin im Moment auf der Suche nach DEM perfekten Schuh und habe ihn gefunden. ALTRAIch habe einen operierten Hallux inklusive begradigten Mittelfußknochen, zudem seit kurzem Fersensporn. Ich geh kapott und hatte keine Möglichkeit in normale Stiefeletten oder Turnschuhe reinzukommen.Diese Schuhe jetzt sind behandelt bequem und habe eine schöne weißt Zehenbox.Werde mir noch den ALTRA timp 4 dazu holen, den gibt es auch so weit.

Avevo qualche perplessità per il drop 0 ma sin da subito si sono rivelate le.mie scarpe. La pianta larga era quello che cercavo e sono abbastanza reattive ed ammortizzate. L'unica cosa che ho modificato è la linguetta e per questo non metto le 5 stelle. È in materiale non morbido e mi da fastidio sul collo del piede così l'ho dovuta accorciare .
