Mixed review
Well to begin with i was confused to how many stars i should give 4 seemed too much and 3 seemed less so 3.5 is the best this book can be given. It is written nicely interesting to read also revolves around the psychological effect of tortured or abused children.. moves fast but it would have been more interesting if more was written what the girls went through..The character and kindness of Jocelyn is overwhelming but out of reality... ella is lost in hr own thought but Sarah's character has been handled best.. overall ok can READ

A good dark psychological thriller
While "Appetite For Innocence" is undeniably a challenging read, its brilliance lies in its ability to provoke discomfort while maintaining an unrelenting grip on your attention. Berry's impeccable writing skillfully navigates the darker corners of the human psyche, demonstrating how two individuals can emerge from the same traumatic experience with vastly different perspectives. The book that finally pulled me out of my reading slump. It's a fast and engaging read. l'd recommend this book to readers who enjoy dark psychological thrillers.⚠️Please do check out the trigger warnings before reading.Lucinda Berry is an absolute genius, and so are her books. The fluidity in which she writes makes the reading experience so enjoyable. This is my first book by her and she has now become one of the authors that I will instantly buy. If she writes it, I want to read it.
