This chicken tastes great. Good texture. I use it for chicken salad sandwiches when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to make my own. It is expensive, but it’s organic, and the quality makes up for it.

Meat is high quality, tastes great, nothing but sea salt added, and in a portable (pop top) package.

This is really the only second healthiest option available, other than vegetarian and vegan foods. Half a can provides 12 grams of protein. Yes, it is similar to canned tuna, but without the fishiness. Could it remind you a bit of canned cat food? Possibly but it's way better than tuna if you ask me. I have trouble with my nose detecting "wet dog smell" when it comes to after tastes/smells from dairy and meat. This doesn't really have that, if it does, it's very subtle. Yes, it tastes like a canned item. So what. The chicken is fine ground and pressed into a very compressed pate' so if that is not your thing, you might avoid this. I personally am very grateful for having a low sodium source of pure protein that has nothing else added. It is excellent mixed into salads/pastas, "tuna salad" sandwhiches, and frittatas!

For a quick way to have chicken sandwich, pasta, tacos etc, this is the best product I have found. No junk added like every other brand I have found. We purchased from our local Harris Teeter then they quit carrying it 😡. They now how NO chicken product that doesn’t contain salt and / or fillers. Thank goodness for Amazon ! Yes this product is a little pricey, but worth it in my opinion to have clean, real chicken and nothing else.

I love that this is organic and free-range (not easy to find in canned meat products, so I usually avoid them as it matters to me how animals are raised and how sustainable and healthy products are). It’s quite tasty. The one little thing that took a bit of getting used to for me was the texture. It doesn’t flake apart lightly like some. It’s really compressed (but consequently you’re not getting cheated on the amount) making the texture a little different (though not mushy). It’ll be great once combined with mayo, celery and such for sandwiches or chicken salad but not for all dishes I’d typically use it for. Still giving it 5 stars for ethical aspects, quality and very tasty flavor.

Pro: I tried this because I like their Tuna and Salmon. Disappointed that the chicken is not packed solid, and it's loose, chunky bits in a lot of juice. I won't purchase it again, but the flavor was good, it was the texture that was lacking. The can I opened wasn't suitable for making a sandwich, just too flaky. It would work for making a quick chicken soup with a can of chicken broth, but not for adding to a salad or stand alone main dish. Not a good value for me.

I really liked this product. Other brands of canned chicken have starches and fillers. This brand in chicken, water, and salt. That is it, plain and simple. I’m on a special diet and it’s hard to find places to eat. I ordered this chicken to prepare to go meals at the hotel. Loved it!
