My wife bough one of those new family games where you put these mouth openers in and try to speak different phrases. The game originally came with five. This is not nearly enough unless you want to wash them frequently. We bought this 12 pack to assure everyone has their own mouth piece. They work just fine for the purposes of the game. Some reviews said they would break with excessive straining when trying to speak with these in place. It's plastic, so I am sure that is a good possibility. However, we have used them a dozen times now and not one has broken during use....yet. At the end of the night they clean easily. I just toss them in the sink and let them soak in some vinegar, rinse them off, let them dry and back in the box they go. If you are performing dentistry in your house then I can't vouch for the effectiveness of these mouth openers, if you are playing the speaking games then I'd say go on ahead and give these a try.

The mouth pieces came on time, but I was not quite satisfied with the quality. The edges are actually kind of sharp and cut into the sides of your mouth. This is compared to the original game pieces that come with Speak Out. Also they are more flexible than the original pieces and therefore do not work quite as well. They work in a pinch, but would not be my first choice, and I would buy somewhere else.

I was really looking for a product to improve the width of my smile because everyone said I was looking a little sad lately. Pop one of these in and boom, instant good mood! Drooling and speaking are a problem but one I can live with. Happy days are here again!

Great replacement or extra mouthpieces for games. Also really great if you just want to check out your dental work! They are very durable. The packaging was poor. Came in a thing plastic/paper sheet envelope that wasnt sealed well, so they came loose everywhere in the box.

got them for the "speak out" game. they were a little more flimsy than the ones that come in the game but they work. are better for small children or people with smaller mouths

These mouthpieces work fine for the Speak Out game, but I ordered the medium size and they're a good bit smaller then the mouthpieces that come with the game.

It is a good product, but a little weaker than the original product that comes with the game.

Bought these for the games...Not as good as the ones that came with the game but still work great...
