While simple in concept, not all mag carriers are created equal. I have tried multiple types over the years and find that the hard kydex carriers are the best for me. Soft molle carriers collapse when the mag is removed and are difficult to get the mag back into if you're using them IWB.These carriers are top notch. All of the edges have been smoothed so that nothing snags on them. The adjustable retention device functions very well, giving you exactly the amount of hold that fits your needs. I just purchased the single stack version as well.

This fits a Ruger Max 9 Magazine very well. Holds up to rigorous activity. This magazine holder has held up so good that I bought another pair. When adjusted properly, it puts a firm hold on your magazine. Ignore the reviews that show people just dropping it in to the hole and letting it flop around. They don't know how to read instructions. I use mostly for IWB carry. It rides fairly comfortably. If you're a little bigger like I am, don't pinch your skin when inserting a magazine. These are great for their price point. Just as good as some pricier mag holders I have.

I purchased four of these to requalify with my departmental Glock. They worked great and have adjustable retention. Why pay more for the same thing?

Works well for carrying variety of mags. But can be uncomfortable wearing IWB. I added foam backing for comfort.
