Lego for grandson.
9 year old grandson loves Lego and this was just what he wanted. Although it takes him very little time to complete he gets a great deal of satisfaction from them.

It’s Great.
This is different to most my Lego reviews because this isn’t really a Lego set. This is an add on to the Lego Mario character that comes with the Lego Mario Starter Course (Lego Mario does not come with this set) and so it more of an accessory than a set - but is it a good accessory?Yes. Yes it is. If, like me, Mario 3 was one of your favourite games and if, like me, one of the highlights of that game was the frog suit, then you will love this. There is no real build to speak of: you put some pieces together to make a stand for when Mario isn’t wearing it (which got quickly lost in our Lego box because in our house MarioIs always wearing the frog suit) but it isn’t really a build. The suit creates new ways for Mario to interact with his environment and to collect coins which is nice, but more importantly it’s the frog suit from Mario 3.If you are looking for Lego under £10 - I would suggest the Marvel mechs as they are more traditional Lego builds and stand alone toys. But if you are looking to expand your Mario lego play sets than I recommend this and do think it’s worth the price. Also my kids love it which is always points in favour of a Lego purchase.

Its a frog suit for mario..
Its literally just a "costume" for mario. Doesn't do anything for £9. But you're going to have to buy it anyway cause you or your kid will want it..

One for my kids collection
He loves these, and they are a great idea. Honestly a bit basic but he loves them and they are something different to collect. Very happy.

Great quality
This is a nice quality, robustly made “outfit” for the figures that go with the set. Would recommend.

Small set, some fun, not good value
Marketed as a 'Power-Up Pack', this frog-based set is part of a small group which offer limited extra features to the LEGO Super Mario range. Place Mario or Luigi inside the frog costume and you will hear splashing sounds as the character jumps around and earn some extra coins when you play the LEGO Mario game app. And that's about it.As usual, everything is well made and works perfectly fine with the other sets it is designed to accompany. But you must have either the Mario or Luigi Starter Course sets (currently starting at around £35 on Amazon) in order to use this expansion so it's only for collectors of the series generally. At £9 for 11 pieces and limited play value it isn't a great buy, but kids will definitely get something from it if they are big fans of the LEGO Super Mario range already. It goes without saying that this can only really be highly recommended to LEGO Super Mario collectors due to at least one other set being needed to play with it and the price. Otherwise, give it a miss.
