Not quite a great belt for pants.
I wanted to use this as a quick release belt, that would be the perfect length, and only needed to be snapped on and off, with no other adjustment necessary. First of all, you need to order at least 6 inches longer than your waist size. I ordered a 36" length and have a 32" waist. This only leaves a little more than an inch of excess. This leads into the real issue with this as a belt. The plastic adjustment mechanism doesn't grab/cinch the belt securely enough. It's OK when it is under tension, but when the buckle is unfastened, the buckle wants to just slide off of the strap. With only an inch of extra strap, it becomes more likely that the buckle will fall off. I am going to try it with a rubber-band around the straps behind the buckle. But that will need periodic replacement.

Awesome Straps, Strapping and Stuff
I bought these straps for use with a 5.11 Tactical Rush-72 Backpack. For you non-operators out there, that's a 3 day pack, great for short backpacking trips. I have used these on the backpack exactly zero times. I attached one strap to the loops at the bottom of the pack, so I could stow a tent/ sleeping bag under there, then I got distracted and ended up watching staggered episodes of Game of Thrones and Adventure Time. I made it through an airport, onto a plane, and three-quarters of the way through the second airport without a single person having the guts to tell me that I had one giant black strap hanging off one side of my backpack. I have discovered the following uses for this strap:1) Belt- Get the 36" strap, it works great as an emergency tensile retainer for your breeches.2) Practice- it comes attached to only one side of the buckle, so I got to learn how straps loop through buckles, believe it or not, it's more complex than it seems, it took me 20 minutes of concentrated mental effort to figure it out.3) Burrito Holder- you scoff, but let's see you come up with a more efficient way of carrying twenty breakfast burritos without a bag or box.

Used it to replace failed rubber strap
Rubber strap holding down the battery of our go-cart failed just like man made rubber is expected to do.So i replaced with this strap. Secure, way longer than needed but a much better alternative to holdng a lead acid battery in the tray.

Great straps
They were exactly what I needed. They were shipped fast and work perfectly.

Works well in Grey's Anatomy scrub pants.
I use this belt for the Grey's Anatomy hospital scrub pants I wear. The pants themselves are great and have held up very well (was going to link them but they may have discontinued the model?) but the drawstring is of a different material and weakened over numerous washings, finally breaking. This belt is the answer. It is thin enough to go through the tiny belt loops and easy enough to remove that I only needed to purchase one. The product is doing exactly what I purchased it for.

As Advertised, but plastic feels brittle
This strap does the job I needed it to do (length and holds tight), but the one thing I would mention is that I fear the clip may break after a while as it seems much harder/brittle than other plastic buckle straps I've used.

Engagement of the clip function
It was easy to use the clip at the end belt for locking with mating latch.

perfect backpacking belt
I had a similar belt that came with my Columbia pants but I lost it. I needed a lightweight belt for backpacking that was cheap and easy to use. This works great I had no issues and it was under $10 bucks (I think I paid $7). The 1 inch width is great for all size belt loops and the length is really long ( over 40 inches). Plus if you need a strap for your pack with will do double duty in a pinch.
