The cup and base of the chalice and the paten are hand turned on the wood lathe out of ash. The stem of the chalice is maple that was distorted into a twist by a vine, making for a most unusual set. The set is coated with an odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic epoxy finish, so the set is 100% functional. The chalice measures 14 1/2" tall and holds 12 ounces. The paten is 6" in diameter.
