Not water proof at all . If you don't use silicone and seal up all the open areas around the leds,lens ,body and where the cord goes into the body water will get in and short it out and its toast . Seal it up and it should work fine .

works good. though it gets blinded by my license plate light at night... i dont think its the cameras fault more like its the fault of the way they designed my car.

It could be a five star, if it didn't leak. The camera is clear and bright; but within 3 weeks it was hazy-- I thought it was dirt on the lens but it was moisture inside fogging the lens. Then it quit working, and it is not guaranteed very long so I will have to buy another camera.

This rear camera compares favorably with the Belva camera that i had purchased but was unable to get because the unit was discontinued, and it was 3 times the price.This was a good choice.

Works great, I replaced my old camera with this one, and so far no problems, no glares, and seeing at night is 1000% better!

Easy to install and excellent picture quality. The only improvement I would make is moving the camera angle adjuster screw to a location accessible while installed on the vehicle.

There is no support or help of any kind. The instructions are all but useless...some tiny graphics and english instructions that are difficult to understand. I've tried to get it to work, but so far it hasn't. It's a nice idea to have the camera in the license frame, but getting it to work is only for those who do not need instructions or help.

English instructions would be nice!
