HolbeinAcrylic Gouache Rebecca Green's 12 Color Set Collection

The price is a little high but the product is awesome.

A nice range and selection of colors, however I thought it was weird it didn’t come with a white. They mix well and have a rich, creamy feeling. Definitely princely but worth it in my opinion.Very opaque, good color saturation and a pretty range of colors.

Its pricey for paint, but this set is worth it. Beautiful set of colors and Holbein is some of the best quality you can get.

Haven’t used them all, but a nice muted color

I have found this color palette to be unexpectedly versatile, especially for the nature stuff I typically enjoy painting. Keep in mind, I'm an amateur and just paint for fun, but as an example, I found this Northern Flicker feather and was able to easily recreate the colors of it; the orangey bit was simply some of the coral and the mustard blended. One thing you will want to know, though, is that there is no true "white" or "black" in this set - the closest to black is sepia. In the notes for the set, you will actually find that Rebecca recommends you add b & w yourself to round out the set, so if you are giving this as a gift, that would be a thoughtful addition if the person you are buying it for is new to acrylic gouache and doesn't already have the basics. Personally, it doesn't bother me to not have them in this set, as it made room for the other colors that painters are far less likely to already have. The paint itself is easy to use and mixes well. Great job on curating this set, Holbein and Rebecca Green! A pleasure to use and to daydream with.

I love this color palette. I have nothing bad to say about this product, just make sure you don’t want to be able to reactivate your paint. I found this out the hard way! :)
