It’s very helpful to identify the ringworms in my two kittens but the only issue it heats up very fast in like 3 minutes of continuous use like very very hot it can burn ur skin

It worked only once, then stopped working at all :( disappointed 😞

Para detectar orina y hongo funciona muy bien. Desde que llegó a casa, la estuvimos usando bastante. Sin embargo, el día de hoy —como ya estaba algo baja la batería— la conecté a la corriente. Después de como dos horas, la desconecté y comencé a usar. La luz volvió a estar alta, pero después de dos o tres clics, el foco ya no ilumina. La he vuelto a conectar y se prende la luz que entiendo es de carga (azul), pero en cuanto la quiero usar, el foco se pone rojo. Otra cosa que tampoco ayuda es que la lámpara no viene con instructivo claro. Iniciaré la devolución o el remplazo, que barata no estuvo.

I use these for pet stains and ringworm check, but I also use them to detect jigsaw puzzle pieces. If one falls on the floor on the carpet, or under something, for some reason a UV light detects them. This one is very faint, has a very short range. Also, the light only functions when you are pressing the button. It is not a toggle. If you touch it, is the only time that the light will illuminate, unless you turn the little plastic guard to press on it. That is probably a safety feature and that maybe is a good thing and it's not mentioned here in the description. You don't want someone playing with a UV light, shining it in their eyes or at other people. So this is probably more child s friendly than some, though not completely safe. It does have a plastic guard which fits over the switch which keeps you from accidentally pressing it. You can also turn it a half turn and that will keep the ON button depressed. That's probably a good thing too. It's slim and it has a cool USB built in on the end so you can just jam the whole unit into a USB outlet.i love thatIt got here in a day and that's a good thing I don't know if that will be the same for everyone. I have several UV lights so actually I may keep it on my puzzle board because it's so slim. A very cool design.

Doesn't work exactly like a black light. Light also not strong enough. Good size though.
