HUGE and sturdy!
I got the 12 inch diameter model... and before you order this, I would suggest measuring your pots to make sure you need something this big because it is huge! So big that I have to hand wash it because it's too tall to fit in my dishwasher, which is no big deal, but I thought you should know. That being said, it is built very well and I have no doubt that it will last me for many many years. Recommended.

Super Big
This is huge. We'll constructed and looks durable but I'm only canning for two. This would be great for super canners!

I use a glove because handle can cut in your hand.
I thought the handle was round. It’s very sharp and can dig in your hands. I wish it had more pictures of the handle.

Great for straining large amounts of whatever
Beware, the 12 inch cone is very large. I tried to picture the 12 inch size when I ordered but it's much bigger than I anticipated. Great for straining large amounts of whatever, I just don't cook that large usually. I think I'm going to get the 8 inch size next for everyday cooking.
