Exceeded my expectations - highly recommend!
I waited a few months before writing this review because I wanted to test the pots and pans first. I purchased the 11-piece set in January, and I couldn’t be more pleased. This is my first stainless steel cookware set (I finally parted ways with my old non-stick set), and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the quality. Not only are these pots and pans beautifully designed, but they’re also solidly constructed and feel very durable. The packaging was excellent — each item came with protective cardboard inserts and wrapped in soft cloth sleeves, which I really appreciated. Before using the set, I followed the recommended cleaning instructions and I’ve had no issues with food sticking. Cleaning has been incredibly easy — just warm water, soap, and a non-abrasive sponge (or sometimes even just a paper towel). On the rare occasions when something left a stain or slight discoloration, a small amount of Bar Keepers Friend brought everything back to looking brand new. I make sure to preheat the pans as advised, and they heat evenly on my gas stove. The handles are ergonomic and don’t get too hot to the touch, and while the pieces have a nice heft to them, they’re not overly heavy or cumbersome. The variety of pot sizes in the set is great, though I do wish a 2-quart saucepan had been included — hopefully that might be added in the future (maybe even as a piece that can be purchased separately). Overall, I’m thrilled with this set and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality stainless steel cookware at a very reasonable price point. As a bonus, the owner personally reaches out after purchase, which is a thoughtful and refreshing touch.

Best affordable option for stainless cookware
Background: We used to have good quality Teflon nonstick fryer pan set in our kitchen, I told my wife I will purchase a new set of stainless cookware if you throw away all those toxic dangerous fryer pans covered with synthetic chemical combination of carbon 8 and fluorine atoms that puts on risk our health. Watch “Dark Waters” on Netflix to understand more about it. She said, I will do it when you get one of those expensive stainless set for me. Then I started to investigate brands and cost, I almost regret my words after I saw how expensive a good stainless cookware set can be but I was already committed to get it, these cookware sets were around the $1,700 dollars or more, designed and also manufactured in America. I saw no other option but to make my word worth and make the expense, I was lucky I found this Legend Cookware set for a very affordable cost in comparison to other American brands. What I liked is that Legend designs their products in America, at least this is what they claim for in their webpage, that means product specification, materials selection and durability tests are conducted here in USA and after results are achieved then the product specs are sent to other countries to reduce the manufacturing costs and this is how you get a great quality product at a cheaper cost for consumers. After 2 months using this set, my wife loves it, I love it to the point to wakeup and prepare the breakfast for my family since this is really easy to cook on it. Update: After 1 year we still love it. Cooking: Cooking is different when you use a stainless cookware, all you need to do is to properly heat your pan before you dump any food on it. This may take 2 minutes, then reduce the temperature and you are ready to cook. Non-toxic nonstick layer is naturally created when the pores in the metal are closed due to heat expansion, then you will have a safe nonstick layer. Cleaning: Super easy, just use a soft sponge and kitchen soap, you will not need to use any hard kitchen utensil to removed stuck food once you learn how to cook on it, cause you won’t have stuck food on it. Cost benefit: This is the best part, you will get this Legend cookware set for a third of the cost when comparing it with a stainless cookware set designed and manufactured in USA. Warranty: What? Lifetime warranty? OMG, this set is a no brainer purchase. One of my pans came with a very small quality issue, I got in contact with customer service to report it, they sent a new set to me at no cost, they really honor they warranty promise. Summary, If you want a non-toxic stainless steel cookware set, just get it, this is the primary reason why I switch from conventional to stainless. I am just trying to put my honest review here because I want other people to get the benefit of replacing toxic teflon Carbon C8 to non-toxic cookware set. No, I did not receive this cookware for free to make this review, I wish but I did not. Thanks for reading me.

The egg trick isn’t a myth… you might not need utensils…
These pans are the real deal. They’re so non-stick that the sticker came right off. Mind blown. Every infomercial you’ve ever seen where non-stick pans are demonstrated, you see people flipping eggs and everything else with ease. Now I’m that chef at home and you can be, too. The 5-ply construction utilizes the best properties of each material to create a piece of cookware that is simply a pleasure to use. The pans are very responsive to changes in heat, which really puts you in control no matter what your heat source is. The 8” & 10” sizes are perfect for a single person to a small family, a large family may want a 12”-14” pan. One thing I think prospective buyers should be aware of is that the handles appear to be powered metal and plated. There are, of course, pros and cons to using this manufacturing technique so it isn’t necessarily a good or bad thing, but I feel like perhaps if any portion of the product is going to be susceptible to tarnishing due to cleaning techniques, it’ll be this, so please observe the care recommendations. This is also true of Legend’s stainless cookware. They’re easy to clean—nothing sticks to them. The heat distribution seems very even. They’re flat and true as can be. Very happy with this purchase and will totally recommend to others. Price is reasonable and commensurate with the quality. This is definitely a step up in quality from what I was able to find in department stores. On top of that, the Legend has a mission to donate a million meals annually and uses sustainable packaging—everything appeared to be recyclable.

Great set of higher end pots and pans
Over all I think this was a GREAT purchase. I am trying to stay away from any and all nonstick at the moment with the stuff coming out about Teflon etc. Plus, anything that causes toxicity in birds feels like maybe we shouldn't be cooking on it.... but that's just me. Besides the point i was on the hunt for a good set of stainless cookware that is reasonably priced. We cook on a near nightly basis and i'd say I am an avid cook and like to experiment but am no chef by any means. For the last three years or so we had been living in fully furnished units which allowed me to experience a great deal of mostly subpar cookware. all that to say I wanted something decent and good that I would enjoy cooking on, but didn't want to spend a fortune. These absolutely fit the bill. They feel great with good heat distribution when cooking on them. The handles stay nice and cool (seems like a no brainer but several years of subpar cookware make this a huge plus that needs to be stated in my mind) I've had zero issues with cleaning, since these are not non stick some buildup is expected while cooking certain things ... but they always come off when cleaning. the fact that you can plop these into the dishwasher is a huge plus as well. We did do the alcohol pretreatment on all but one (my husband didn't read instructions) and would recommend doing that for preventing staining. Over all this feels and looks and cooks like a really solid cook set and I would highly recommend this set.

Good pots and pans
I tested the other pots and frying pans and those are good. I think just the 5 Qts one has the issue. The pan was non stick if you follow instructions. The marks were gone with a wash and vinegar. Giving 4 stars for this reason. You need to work with all and you'll see that these are good. I just didn't like the 5 Qt one as that one kind of chipped but rest are well made and I love them.

Really exceeded all expectations. Super easy to clean always. Just use extra low heat
I'd purchase Legend stainless steel again. I didn't know what to expect because I'd never heard of the brand. [I'm not new to stainless steel]. The Legend company seems great too. They sent me a Legend apron but never asked me for a review. My review has nothing to do with the apron. i hadn't used the pots anyway at that point. Over Thanksgiving I decided to switch entirely to stainless steel, I hedged: I tried Legend and three other brands. I chose 3-ply because I don't have 5-ply cash. Legend packaging was great. I opened it and they had rather interesting advice for "pre-treating" your stainless steel so it lasts; I ignored it. I've used stainless steel before why should this be any different. Compared to other brands, all 3-ply, Legend has unbelievable heat retention. With Legend I have to cook a notch lower heat-wise. The reason I'm leaving a review is because, I was reheating some chicken and I was naughty, I didn't watch the pot. It was on simmer low (3) but I left it for WAY too long while doing something else. I was thinking it's on low, it won't burn and I have a super-sensitive nose, no problem. Anyway, it burnt .... with some chicken stuck to a blackened bottom (not smokey-burn, a slow burn). I thought well that's fun, I'm going to discover if the pot will survive. I rescued most of our chicken and put some warm water to cover the blackened sticky food part and left the pot on the stove on 1 until after we finished dinner. When I checked in on the pot, the blackened burnt layer just lifted completely, the whole layer came off at once like a pancake! So I could clean the pot normally without any scrubbing needed. Five stars for that!!!! There's no evidence at all that I burnt the pot. Looks as before. PS. Don't pay attention to reviews of stainless steel pots from people who know nothing about stainless steel. Cleaning is a breeze. Occasionally, for every single one of my stainless steel brands, I'll clean them with bar keeper's type powder but not always (including All-Clad). Most of the time, it's soap and warm water. PPS. Using a glass covered electric stove

Great quality at amazing price
These are great pans! I thought they wouldn't be as good as the expensive skillet for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. Very high quality set.

This cookware is not as described
I bought this set for myself as a Christmas present, was very excited to receive it. Very disappointed!! Looks like a nice set, but everything I cook sticks and does not clean well! I bought stainless steel cookware cleaner, does not thoroughly clean the cookware. As you see in pictures I cooked rice and no matter what I do it doesn’t come out, frying pan is the worst, everything sticks. Picture is grill cheese sandwich stuck, was a nightmare couldn’t tell it was a grill cheese when I got it out!! Bad thing too is I got rid of every single pot, pan, frying pan I owned! Only reason I’m giving 1 star is wouldn’t let me submit without a star rating 😡
