no issues - Tile made it easy when we got to the Bahamas to locate our ...
This is a really neat device. We purchased this specifically to put on our checked luggage for out last trip outside the country, and it worked very well.As the description says, it uses Bluetooth to connect to the device, so it does have a limited range. This isn't a GPS device, meaning you will need to be within a 100 feet or so for it to work, but don't let that deter you. Tile is the most popular product in this niche market, meaning there are a lot of people out there with Tiles of their own, and if they have the Tile app, they can anonymously locate your Tile for you if they are nearby it - which works surprisingly well in a place such as an Airport where people are actively using Tiles. So why 5 stars? Well here's my story. My wife and I recently traveled to the Bahamas on our Honeymoon. We flew Delta, and had a layover in Atlanta. On the way down, no issues - Tile made it easy when we got to the Bahamas to locate our bag on the carousel, and allowed us to get to Customs before everyone else. The true value of Tile was on the way back. We unfortunately got stuck in Atlanta for TWO DAYS due to a snow "storm". We landed in Atlanta around lunch, and our connecting flight to our final destination was delayed multiple times over 12 hours, then finally cancelled (along with 1,000 other flights). At that point, it was 1:00AM and all we wanted to do was get our checked bag that had all of our clothes, and find a hotel. Well, if it was only that simple... Delta was not allowing people to get their checked bags, and said that the bags would be forwarded along to our final destination at some point, most likely before we would get there. I could go on about how frustrating this was, but in the end Tile saved the day or at least relieved a lot of stress. Since Delta's operations essentially "rebooted" in Atlanta, tracking our bag on the Delta app was useless. When we arrived at the airport to catch our flight two days later, we spoke with Baggage and they said that they didn't know where our bag was. We checked the Tile app multiple times, with no luck on locating it - not surprising because a lot of the bags are held in their storage facility which is away from the terminal, away from Tile users. About 30 minutes before we boarded the plane to our final destination, the gate attendant told us that our bag was already at our home airport and arrived the day before. At this point, nothing on the Tile app, and the Delta app wasn't showing any updates. This news was a little bit of a relief, but at the same time stressful thinking that it's just sitting on the carousel in our airport waiting to be stolen. Fast forward to us sitting on the plane waiting to take off... all of a sudden I get a notification from my Tile app saying that my luggage has been located! Wouldn't you know, it was located exactly at my current location - what does this mean? It was on the plane with me! What a huge relief... Tile is a great product... we landed at our home airport and then the Tile came out on the carousel playing it's little tune and we were on our way home. I want to point out that when the luggage hit the carousel, our bag didn't come out at first - it actually came out about 15 minutes after the rest of the bags for some reason. If we didn't have the Tile app, we wouldn't have known to look for it on the carousel, and if we did, we would have likely walked away to go find Baggage causing more confusion. This isn't the end for our Tile... we will use it again while traveling, but in the mean time we put it on our cat's collar - he's notorious for "escaping" our house... Haven't had to use it to find him, but if he does escape, it will hopefully help.Stop thinking - just buy one - they are cheap and extremely useful. Battery lasts a year then you need to buy a new one, but I've spent more money on lunch in a single day - who cares!

A cat owners Tile story
This is for all you cat owners that spend countless hours worrying about where your cat is...while I know my cat is smart and cunning, I still would worry when he would not come home at night when I called.. I had this sinking feeling he had to be nearby and was just toying with me so I thought I would give this a try.GG has been used to wearing a collar so it was not hard to implement this great little device onto his cat collar. I also wrote on his tile his name and phone number to second as a tag since keeping his current name tag on made him too noisy. He really doesn't mind it and it's not heavy or too big for him.Because the Tile works off Bluetooth it's not like I can find him at any moment, but what is great is I can monitor through the app how long it has been since he has been around. And when he does stay out after dark I have some peace of mind that if he is nearby I will know and can let him in.Many nights so far I have gone to bed and an hour or so later woken up, looked at my app and see he has been around just a few minutes ago. I get up walk outside and see the locator turning green as I get closer to his location. I love hitting the button to hear where he is.. and he is now trained that when he hears the pleasant little sound he knows I am there to let him in and he can come out of hiding! In all reality I would love if this worked like the track my iPhone and was a true GPS tracker, but for the money it has really helped me feel more comfortable having him enjoy his time outside. So, if you are a cat owner and want to try something that isn't too expensive, too big around the cats neck and gives you a bit of comfort.. give it a try! My husband said to me the first day we had it on GG, "I have not seen you so happy with a purchase"!Try it.. let your cats be wild.. just enough!!

Buy your iPad back from a junkie for $75 or buy a Tile
I ordered this after I lost my keys at 4:50 on a Friday and my coworkers had to help me search for them, including digging through the dumpster to find the bag of garbage that came from my office that day. My wonderful coworkers stayed past 5 to help me look so imagine my horror when I found them in my purse. They were there the whole time and slid inside a small package I had in there. Even though I emptied my purse multiple times looking I had missed them! I felt like such an axxhole but I'm thankful I have such awesome coworkers! I lose my keys all the time. At home, at work, the gym, in my car, in other peoples cars and homes, at parks, at restaurants and bars, everywhere. They're never far, I just have the tendency to mindlessly set things down somewhere and not remember where later.I read tons of reviews for key finder devices. This one seemed the best and my boss mentioned hearing about their Kickstarter way back when. I didn't want something that needed a stationary base as thats not feasible for what I needed. I also wanted something reliable and to not have to worry about the battery dying and not knowing. Yes, I know this one lasts about a year before you have to re-tile but its easy to look at the phone app to see if its working. Also it was important to not be too clunky or big. My keys are small. Just the cars remote and key and a house key. I didn't want to add much to it.I set this up when I got it and wow! I'm impressed! I tested it from behind closed doors and under pillows and laundry and it worked! Bonus is that I can also use my keys to locate my phone. I misplace that a lot too but because it makes noise it's easier to find than keys. The cost of $20-30/year for the device is absolutely worth it! Much cheaper than the cost of buying a round of drinks for your coworkers who spent their time looking for your keys after work on a Friday!I'm also going to get the slim Tile for my iPad as well. It would have came in handy when I left the brand new iPad my fiancé just bought me in a downtown Detroit cab one evening and was given the fantastic opportunity to buy it back from a junkie 4 weeks later for $75. Now if only there was a Tile small enough to attach to my engagement ring somehow...

Amazing,Great and would highly recommend!
After hours of searching the internet for the best key tracker I stumbled across this amazing device.Once received the high quality packaging really enhanced and benefited the experience.Next the set up in my opinion is great and effortless. To set up you have to just download an app, turn on Bluetooth and the device does the rest.Within the easy to use app you may find some very unique and interesting features such as the find my phone button which allows you to press a button from your tile which will result in your phone making a noise for you to locate it.Battery life is great and I have had 0 issues with this product.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for high quality and great value for money!
