Handwriting For Lefties

Poorly Designed; Cheap; Does not teach good hand-writing; Not a good book for learning lefty writers
This book is cheap and not well-designed. The tracing has bad fonts and the content of the sentences are really really odd.I got this book for myself as an adult to try to practice writing lefty after having surgery on my right hand. That said, after seeing it, I'm not sure if there is any age group this would be appropriate for.I found the lettering difficult and tracing it was not good writing practice at all. I don't think it would teach any kind of good lettering muscle memory or good hand-writing practice. The font is odd and inconsistent. The letters are too small. It's also not really lefty-focused, except the title and some of the sentences. If you really want a good book for left-handed writers, it should be bound with spirals at the top, so they aren't writing into the margin.I got another book called Powerful Printing which is amazing. I can't find the left-handed version of that on Amazon but I found it elsewhere online. I loved that book and recommend you find it if you are trying to find good hand-writing practice for a lefty.

Great Practice Tool:
I have a friend that has very limited use of her right hand which she use to use for writing. I bought this to test for myself before advising her. Now she is starting to learn how to write with her left hand. In the process I am learning how to write with my left hand as well. Hey there is always something to learn. Wish I had this when our twins were young, one is right handed the other left handed. Would have been a great teaching tool.

Waste of Money!
other than showing you how a lefty should hold a pencil, there is no instruction. I thought maybe this was from a different country. If you are looking for ways to help your lefty progress in school, you will find this oh so NOT helpful.Waste of money!!! Wish I could return it!!

so I encourage parents to enjoy this book with their kids so they can see ...
I am 28 years old and never learned ergonomic writing skills for lefties. This book is helping me improve my handwriting and writing posture, while also entertaining me even though it's meant for young children, so I encourage parents to enjoy this book with their kids so they can see these great punny riddles!

A real encouragement to left handed children.
I took a chance ordering this for my left handed grandson, not knowing if he would be interested. Well, he couldn't put it down. Everywhere we went, he had to bring his 'lefty book' with him. Tracing the letters was his favorite thing.

Pages cut off, very poor quality
The top of the book was cut off. The paper was ridiculously thin. Not good for a small child. Extremely poor quality. Returned and will not be reordering.

Math is too hard for 2nd grade
A little complicated for my 2nd grader. The tracing is fine, but nothing you can't do with a righty book. Explaining how to move the paper and hold the pencil was helpful. The math (long division, etc.) is just way above his grade level.
