Grand Piano Soundboard Cleaner, Keep Piano Clean

I used a microfiber cloth and pushed it through the opening and arranged it in a way to not scratch the soundboard. Slipped it through the narrow spaced and cleaned the soundboard. Lots of dust was removed easily. Amazing.

Works well. I’m glad I bought it. After seeing so many pianos with years worth of accumulated dust, I was convinced to keep mine cleaner. This fits the bill quite well, allowing me to slide a cloth under the strings to get at any dust. The only negative is that it is metal, which means it is necessary to take care not to scratch the piano case when manipulating it to get under the strings. That could be minimized if either the devise was made of a different material or the edges were rounded more.

While, technically, you may be able to clean your grand piano soundboard with this flexible piece of metal, it is not easy. It doesn't reach onto all sections of the soundboard very easily; it could scratch your piano, there's no way to keep a dustcloth attached, so it could end up stuck under the wires. I found it very disappointing and a waste of money.

Works as expected and cleaned well

I used it with a swiffer cloth which weighs nothing. Getting it between the wires on the soundboard is difficult, but not impossible. The problem is that it only does the open flat part and cannot be used to clean the pinblock. Not worth the money. Canned air and a vacuum cleaner work as well or better.

This is a basic tool for cleaning under your piano's strings. The design is a standard one. You have to use it with care, though, as the part the cleaning cloth attaches to could easily scratch the soundboard is you are not careful in using it. I would like it much better if there were some sort of guard for the end.

Cleaner was not easy to use and doesn’t reach everywhere on a baby grand piano. Didn’t dust well. Overall I expected more from this product and was disappointed.
