My wife was give on of these 10-15 years ago. Can't complain about te quality with that longevity. It finally had a screw come out and get lost from the end of the roller. My wife complain several times after using a regular hair dryer and flat iron. So she was very pleased with me when I found it on Amazon.

I've been using an Instyler for years and even though this looked almost identical it was horrible! The heat control/on-off button did not work. The revolving barrel felt like it was rolling around rocks. I used it exactly like I have always used the Instyler and my hair looked worse after I was finished than it did before I started. Do not be fooled by its looks, it is HORRIBLE.

I have only used it once, yesterday... I like the feel of it... its smaller than my two prior InStyler Wet & Dry.It doesn't go as HOT as those first two which I am pleased about. At some point it would vibrate/make a noise/rattle--I don't know why. My other two full-size ones would occassionaly do the same -- I was surprised it would do that on the first use... I wish I knew WHY lit happened. I wonder what I did to trigger that activity. My hair looked great after wards. I want to be able to take good care of it... Any sugestions would be appreciated. I’m very happy with this Hair Styler. It does a great job and will tell other. People about it.

What a disappointment. I purchased the original instyler and it work amazingly well. I loved it. It got old so I decided to purchase another on Amazon, thinking that Instyler may have lowered their prices because they probably made updated models. I should have gone with the original. First off, this felt so light weight. Secondly, it had a weird clicking sound when I would close the barrel to the brush, third, it did not heat up. It was warm, at best. Fourth, it did not style my hair at all and my hair kept getting caught in the bristles. I’m ordering the REAL Instyler. I’ll donate this one to the garbage bin.

I purchased the machine thinking it would be like what was advertised over television for my mom. We’ve had several machines and they lasted for a quite awhile. It was unfortunate that this one was not working properly. It would not heat up to its appropriate setting. It would take a bunch of tries for my hair to be straight and even then, it would come out frizzy.

I've used this product for a long time and I love it. Unfortunately, the new one that I just purchase does not function well; turns off in the middle of curling it vibrates for no reason. It is not like my old one.

I ordered this for a gift and when it was plugged in it made a whirring sound and the barrel didn't move. I sent back the first one and got a replacement--it had the same issue but also with a clicking noise in the barrel.Save your money, get the real instyler or a blowdryer brush. This is not worth it.
