Need extra posts
Works well with goats and in an area the grass grows pretty tall. As long as its not a giant wad or stick leaning on the wires, the fence still gives a zap. I use a solar powered charger, which is not a very strong zap, but does work. Just a little maintenance to keep blackberrys from overgrowing it. (From the side without the goats on it)Disconnecting the lowest line from power helps keep it from shorting. Heavy dew happens here, and it can be an issue.Downside is the posts aren't heavy or stiff enough to keep straight. Sag will happen. Get extra posts, fiberglass with plastic fence knobs work great. Also helps across uneven terrain. If the ground is hard, you have to hammer posts in- try just the step pieces or you will break the top piece of the fence. For the price, it's great! Just wish they'd add in some extra posts. Not attached, just extra for dealing with terrain issues and sag.

Not good for chickens
Finally got it all setup and watched my Australorp walk right through the bottom net. The bottom square is just to big for these guys. Other things I didn’t like.1. Very hard to prevent sagging. Had to buy extra posts.2. Spikes on the posts didn’t work well on dry ground.
