Cal+ with Ipriflavon | Mineral, Vitamin, and Herbal Supplement to Promote Skeletal Strength | 210 Capsules

I am frequently asked to provide recommendations regarding bone and joint health or recovery after injury. This supplement is always on my list because it provides a specific combination of vitamins and minerals in a formulation that targets bone and connective tissue strengthening and formation. Unlike grocery store products, this provides two highly bioavailable forms of calcium, an essential mineral for the functional integrity of bone AND also for cell membrane and blood vessel function and is essential for nervous system and muscle function. Additionally, the formulation includes Vitamin D3 and trace elements which nutritionally support and enhance the absorption of calcium and its incorporation into bone. Further included is Ipriflavone, a synthetic derivative of naturally occurring isoflavones, which supports hard tissue (bone) by promoting secretion of the hormone calcitonin, and promoting osteoclast activity, type I collagen and the formation of a mineralized bone matrix. Not forgotten is Vitamin K which enhances bone formation process by carboxylating osteocalcin. With some rare exceptions, this is one of my "go-to" supplements on my After-Care list for bony injury and daily for my aging patients.

Awesome product! Have used Pure Products for years(Cal + in particular). Osteoporosis runs in my family and I've already had one hip replacement and don't want another. My bone density test came back markedly improved 6 mos. after my hip replacement. That was 15 years ago and no further problems with the hip. I'm 71 now and I also notice a marked difference in my joints when using Cal+; especially my hands. Wish it wasn't quite so pricey, but it definitely works.

Keeps me healthy

Husband had a compression fracture in the middle of the spine, was told to take pills and/or do injections, but his stomach could not tolerate those meds. Taking 3-4 capsules a day of Pure Encapsulations plus 1 gel from Jarrow MK-7 Bioactive form of Vitamin K to have the calcium be absorb by the bones, has giving him a great result! For over a year, thanks to our Lord, this combo and exercise, has strengthen his bones and he's not so fragile anymore. I highly recommended!

Upon the advice of my naturopath, I started taking both Pure Encapsulations calcium and Thorne Research Biostrong for osteopenia. Within a few years it was evident that both were working. My latest bone scans show improvement in bone density.
