Hello Scott, We don't test for levels of palmitic acid on our product. Sea buckthorn berry oil typically has about 20% palmitic acid. We have noticed misinformation about palmitic acid in sea buckthorn circulating and we just want to over a few basics with you. Palmitic acid is the most common fatty acid found in plants and animals. It already exists naturally in our bodies. Our bodies can create palmitic acid with excess carbohydrates and our bodies use these fat cells to store energy.There have been clinical studies that show that isolated palmitic acid in high amounts can be harmful. Under the circumstances of a lab setting, palmitic acid can do some damage but those circumstances are completely different than when you eat palmitic acid in a natural way (not isolated or in high amounts).That’s because when palmitic acid is in its natural state (alongside other nutrients and vitamins) it is not harmful in the least. Not to mention that the chances of you ever getting isolated palmitic acid in your body is slim to none; unless of course you are a lab rat. Unfortunately, there are some companies who have chosen to misrepresent this information in order to sell products. They say that Omega-7 that is not purified (often fish oil products) won’t give you the same benefits.Sea buckthorn oil is the best source of omega 7 and doesn't need to be purified. Palmitic acid is only dangerous for you if you isolated and concentrated it in very high amounts- which would be impossible outside of a lab setting. Please let us know if you have more questions. Why are the omega quantities expressed as percentages instead of grams as you see with every other supplement?

Dies this brand have sba24 in it?

Hello, SBA24 is a branded blend of sea buckthorn seed and berry oil. Our Omega 7 Complete product is just that- a blend of sea buckthorn seed and berry oil. While it is a trademark and branded ingredient- it's actually the exact same thing as what is in SeabuckWonders Omega 7 Complete. Looking at the nutrition panels of the SBA24 products, we found that you'll be getting a higher dose of omega 7 in our product if you follow the serving size. There doesn't seem to be any difference in this branded blend and our blend- except for possibly speaking of the quality of the oil in SBA24. While we can't speak to the quality of the SBA24 oil- since it's not clear how it's farmed or where it's sourced from, we can tell you more about our process. We own our crop of sea buckthorn trees in the Tibetan Himalayas. Our crop is grown 100% Organically and our pure oils are USDA and Non-GMO product certified (Omega 7 complete does not have these certifications because they aren't available for the kosher certified gel cap that we use in our products- but we do still use the certified oils inside the caps). We use state of the art extraction processes by Supercritical C02 Extraction which preserves much of the natural contents of the original plant- including fatty acids and other nutrients/ antioxidants. Our entire product chain is managed by us from farming to the final product and we regularly submit our products for third party inspection to ensure quality. According to what we can tell from the marketing of SBA24 products, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference- except that they do not share how the oils are farmed, extracted, or certified. Is the kosher gelatin bovine (beef)? Thanks!

I assume it's from bovine sources, but this isn't Kosher. It's a bogus symbol that is meaningless. I asked my Rabbi. If you eat strictly Kosher, make sure that the certifying agency is legitimate.

GREAT for rosacea-like skin conditions and gastrointestinal issues! Try it! You will NOT be sorry.

I should probably preface this by saying I've bought literally 1000's of products online over the years, but I've written maybe a small handful of reviews. A product has to be really THAT good or THAT bad for me to take to the keyboard. This product is THAT good! In my mid-40's, I started to have what I consider to be serious skin issues--enlarged pores, a very rough and ruddy complexion and acne unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Let me explain, and I apologize for being to graphic, but I want you to understand how bad it was. My skin was very bumpy and even though I didn't have actual visible whiteheads, I could squeeze virtually any bumpy spot on my face and my pores would ooze sebum and, more often than not, a hard, segmented clear-ish "plug." I had no idea what it was. So, I turned to the Internet... I found information of Demodex mites. Apparently, these little creatures live on the surface of all human skin, but for some reason--probably some autoimmune glitch--they wreak more havoc on some of us. I was very much skeptical of what I read, but the magnified pictures on Google did look remarkably like the "plugs" I'd been getting out of my pores. And, while I'd not been to a dermatologist for an official diagnosis, my skin definitely had the appearance of rosacea (which, according to my research, is believed by many renowned dermatologists to be caused by these Demodex mites). Anyway...whatever the cause, I had horrible skin. It was so bumpy and itchy, and picking at it always resulted in oozing, which, let's face it, feels good at the time because you think, "Great...I'm getting all of this gunk out of my skin!" But at the end of the day, picking just makes everything worse--scarring, low grade infection, etc. In desperation, I took the advice of one of the sites I'd been reading and started looking for Sea Buckthorn Oil, which was touted as a successful treatment for Demodex mites and the resulting rosacea-like condition. This particular brand seemed to have the most positive reviews here on Amazon. I ordered it and received it on November 7th. I began taking it immediately, and I have now taken it five days. The results are absolutely amazing! My skin is clear, smooth and soft. No bumps. No oozing. No itching. Honestly, it looks better than it did when I was in my 20's! I'm blown away! If I read anything anyone else had written claiming such profound results in five days, I would probably just completely dismiss their review. Nothing can work that well in five days, right??? This is another reason I hesitated to write this review. I'd hate to have anyone disregard my review, thinking it's too good to be true, and maybe miss out on something that could really help them. So...I'm taking a chance in writing this. Hopefully, though, you'll give this product a try and see for yourself. Oh, by the way...an added bonus is this...I suffer from chronic constipation due to prescription medications I have to take. The Sea Buckthorn Oil has cleared that up as well! I have read this to be the case for others, too, and I have to believe it's true. The Sea Buckthorn Oil is the only thing I'm doing differently. All in all, I am thrilled that that little voice urged me to buy this product. The positive changes for me have been beyond amazing. I wish all of you who are experiencing similar problems to my own better health and happiness.

Really helps

I tried these for feminine dryness. I used to use lubricil but the price went up. They both work equally well for helping with painful dryness weather you are intimate or not. It definitely works for feminine comfort. I have recommended it to friends and found out others we’re using it too.
