The Bomb!
I used the ole Black n Decker $25 knife for a few years. The primary purpose is to thinly slice grilled chicken breast. It worked fine, but the trigger was garbage and finally quit working. There are so many great cordless tools/appliances out there and I thought why not a cordless electric knife. So without breaking the bank I purchased one with good reviews for less than $50. What a disappointment. Maybe fine for slicing a few veggies, but not for the weekly chicken breasts. Would it do it, sure but slow and had a flimsy blade. I decided to go back to corded knife and checked the reviews. This one had mostly good reviews. It was twice the price of the cheap ones but I decided to give it a try. Never thought an electric knife would make me smile every time I use it. Twice as good as the old black n decker and four times better than the cordless that I paid the same price for. Powerful motor. Strong, stiff blade. Ergonomic handle (some reviews said it was too bulky. I’m an average sized guy and have zero issue). This is a great knife. Highly recommend over the cheap corded knives and the mid-priced cordless knives. Not sure about the expensive cordless knives. If this one ever dies I will replace it with the same knife 💪🏻

Fabulous! Sharp! Great product!
I read up a lot on electric knives before purchasing this and settled on thsi particular knife. I'm so glad I did! It is a SHARP knife and does a fantastic job! We have used it for turkey, ham and beef so far. The blades detach easily for cleaning.I had thought cordless was the way to go, but after reading lost of reviews and info, I leanred corded is more powerful and this knife is no exception. It has great power to it! It stores very nicely back in the box/packaging it shipped in. You cannot go wrong with this knife!

Works well for me, and fits the stand after minor surgery
When my old GE electric knife died, it was a sad day. My 30-year-old knife had served me well, but when the motor failed, it was done and I had to find an appropriate replacement. Of all that I found, I like the design of this product best. I read lots of reviews, both good and bad, and read product comparisons through many articles and decided to take a chance on this product. I've not really used it much yet, but so far it's meeting my expectations. One of the things I like best is how the safety switch works... unlike other knives that require you to depress a slide button in the trigger each time you start the knife, this one clicks and stays in a locked or unlocked position, just like my old GE. If I had to use two hands to unlock the switch each time I started the knife, I would be throwing it out in short order. Safety is important, but overall usability is why we choose products. As everyone else has said, the knife motor section simply doesn't fit in its holder in the knife block. After looking at the block for about 1 minute, it became quite clear that the plastic "holder" for the back end of the knife was not made to fit the shape or contour of the knife end. I read where others removed the plastic block, drilled new holes and moved it downward on the block about 1/2 an inch to accommodate the handle, but that would impact the blade holder as well, making it ineffective. After close inspection, one can see that the area that cradles the rear of the knife is actually a plastic insert, and it's shape suggests that it was designed for the previous version of this knife. I removed the two screws holding the plastic block onto the wooden block, then easily removed this plastic insert from the knife block, then reinstalled the plastic block onto the wooden block. The knife now fits perfectly.I'm currently giving this product 4 stars because of the design flaw with the knife block. I find that inexcusable. I'll update my post after the holiday season, when this knife undergoes a real performance test.

Almost Perfect
Compared to other electric knives I've tried; this one is the best and deserves 5 stars but there are a few improvements I would make. I use this knife to routinely slice up large turkey breasts.Pros:* Great power.* The blades are perfectly flush together, as they should be.Opportunities to improve:* The grip circumference is really large. Perhaps this is necessary to accommodate the powerful motor and gearing, but it makes holding and using the knife harder on the hand and forearm. Maybe not an issue for people with large hands* I would prefer as offset blade option. Because the grip circumference is so large, maneuvering the knife down all the way through the meat and to the cutting board is awkward. Offset blades would make it much easier.

Great knife at a great price!
I’ve had this same electric knife for years. My son always borrows it. So I finally bought him one of his own. He was happy. It’s all you need to carve the turkey.
