The mission of Krama Yoga Center is to provide an authentic healing and transformational yoga experience for North Dallas practitioners and beyond. Our intention is not to simply bring you a healthier body and peace of mind. These are byproducts of the yoga practice. The aim of yoga is about experiencing oneness, cultivating a mind capable of concentration and a heart free of judgment. The gifts of this mystical journey happen to include a radiant body and a joyful existence. Classes are led by certified instructors and are generally flow-based (Vinyasa). Temperature for classes are generally 75 - 85 degrees Fahrenheit and sometimes we use varied hip/relaxing music. When weather permits, we may practice with open doors for fresh air! We have a lot of space, forgiving floors, a nice sound system and soft adjustable lighting. There is more to doing yoga than making an asana (yoga postures) of oneself, so we also offer ongoing education about the philosophy of yoga, breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation and more! The benefits of yoga are accessible to anyone regardless of fitness level, age, experience or background.
