Studio Ghibli - My Neighbor Totoro - Sakura/Cherry Blossom, Skater Traditional Japanese Porcelain Dish Series - Teacup

Was worryed when first opening because of how it was losely shiped in card bord outher layer and it was inside eazy shaken around, but it made it here safe and sound and it's beautiful! I love haveing my Matching cup with tea pot, I will be ordering more, Worth the wiat and money.

I ordered 4 tea cups and it was sent in a paper mailing bag, not a box. 3 or 4 cups were broken when they arrived. I reached out and replacement cups were sent to me right away, I brought the broken ones to Khols for drop off, but got an email later saying they were charging me for the cups because they didn't get them back. What was the point of store drop off then? I watched them scan the items, I used the correct bar code? I haven't heard back, kinda upset about that. The new cups arrived in the same paper mailer bag but thankfully nothing was broken. The cups are so cute and I love them! I just wish the customer service had been better. Will probably update once I hear back about my return.

The cup overall is cute! Not as well designed as the photos make it look (mine came a LOT more speckled with black and the green portion was extremely tiny) though it does come packaged in a studio ghibli box. My main upset is that upon removing it from the box, I noticed the main design - the flowers and spoot sprite etc. - was scratched completely through at least four times. Unfortunately the design does not seem to be properly sealed so my guess is with time, it will probably start to flake off. I bought this item as a Christmas gift for a coworker and forgot to take photos before wrapping it or I’d show the damage. Overall, not very happy with the purchase but it’ll still make a cute gift, damage and all.
