One Tree Hill: Season 7

One Tree Hill, Season 7.This has been my favourite season so far. The introduction of the new characters gave the tv series a new vibe that I loved, but still in the same style as the previous six seasons. However I did miss Lucas and Peyton very much and felt that they needed to be part of some storylines throughout the season, especally with Brooke. Brooke was there for Peyton when she was in a rough patch and that made their friendsip special and realistic, but when Brooke was going through tough times this season there was not even a phone call from Peyton. So that annoyed me that the writers couldn't add just that little bit in. The new characters fit in well and the storylines fit too. Clay has to be my favourite addition. He has the best back ground very interesting and entertaining, not to mention Very good looking. My least favourite is Alex (girl) she is too soppy and it makes the show drag in parts. I loved the story line with Haley and her mum, it was very moving. I think that I cried for 3 episodes straight. I think that the writers did an excellent job and the directors and film crew as usual did fantastic work! The bonus features were excellent to watch also. The ending to the season was extremely exciting and i cannot wait for season 8 Living in Australia, I am very glad to have bought this from amazon as it is not avaliable in stores here. I also bought seasons 5 and 6 from amazon and I am very happy with the service that I recieved, I recomend it to everyone! Lucas and Peyton are no longer included in the One Tree Hill series. Clay, Quinn, and Alex are three new characters who are introduced. Clay is Nathan's agent, Quinn is Haley's sister, and Alex is a Hollywood Star. All three of these characters are great additions to the story. Quinn quickly steals your heart as the sweet but passionate sister. Clay will grow on you as his character develops and changes due to a romance. Alex is the character you will love to hate until you realize she is amazing under her Hollywood facade. Overall, season 7 is fantastic. It is definitely worth a watch. The new characters are refreshing and the story finds depth now that it no longer revolves around Peyton and Lucas.

New storylines kept me watching.

I am a coming-of-age genre fan, so OTH/One Tree Hill is right up my alley. My favorite season was season 2, but now season 7 is giving it a run for its money. I love how the characters have evolved and come together. I was concerned about the timbre of the show when I learned that Peyton and Luke weren't in this season, but that did not hurt the show at all. Some new and lovable characters were introduced, some continuing storylines were followed, and a lot of the themes introduced/addressed were perfectly fitting for 20-somethings trying to make their lives work. The show and characters will make you laugh and cry, especially if you've been following them all along. And if you haven't and want to start now, this is a good place to start. And as always, the music is *fantastic*!
