Book served its purpose!
I was cautious about renting a textbook for school, thinking it would be in pretty rough shape, missing pages, etc...However, I was presently surprised the book was in better shape then expected and served the purpose in which I needed it for. Will use Rent U again!!

A new understanding of myself.
I rented this for a college class. If you have never taken a human sexuality class, I would recommend taking one. This book is full of information that helped me understand myself on a whole new level. The words inside flowed good and was easy to understand. I took a lot away from my class because of this book.

Perfect for class!
Came in almost perfect and pristine condition. the upper right hand corner of the cover was a bit bent but all in all it came in wonderful condition for my class! I wish it came in hardcover though.

King is King
Very beaten up, not just a bit "used." BUT! Dr. King's Human Sexuality book is a top resource.

Amazon auto charged to buy after rental return
Thumbs down. I received this textbook with missing pages, written notes, and highlighted sections. I rented it to review it for a class I am teaching in the Fall. I returned the text to Amazon on time, and was charged an extra $56 for the "damage", that was there when it arrived! This apparently is the cost of the textbook, since they sent it back to me. I could have bought the book used for less. Ugh. I have no way of contacting Amazon to receive a refund. I will never rent from nor trust to rent through Amazon. If you rent a textbook from them, be sure to check the entire book and send back immediately so you don't have to pay twice what is advertised! The text is a relatively straight forward solid human sexuality book - a slight humanistic slant, which was nice, a bit dated, but better than most bio-social (nature v nuture) I have read.

Decent....
This was required reading for a class I took recently. Interestingly enough, I found this book to be clear and concise. I wish the author would have spent more time on the LGBTQ issues that we face today with youth. There is such a small amount of material on this throughout this book. I led me to wonder why very little focus on such a pressing need - particularly for the youth many of us will be counseling.
