The picture does not do this shower curtain justice. It looks like a sludge gray/tan, probably because it's hard to photograph an almost invisible sheet of crystal clear vinyl. Our curved shower curtain rod is 87" off the bathroom floor. This 84" long curtain is the perfect length. We have an ivory linen fabric curtain outside the tub and we love the way this transparent liner lets the light filter through. The curtain is "super heavy, commercial weight". It feels quite sturdy and holds up well. The magnets at the bottom are powerful enough to grab and hold in place. The metal grommets at the top are strong & rust proof.Tip: The care instructions say, "Wash in cold water. Only Hang to Dry". Pay attention to the "Only Hang to Dry" part. Our hard water had left some spots, so I took the curtain down & washed it in cold water on gentle cycle. No problem. However, then I figured I'd just pop it in the dryer on a very low temperature to smooth it out...WRONG! The thing stuck together like a beach ball made of duct tape! I tossed it and spent $10 to buy the same curtain as a replacement.Update December 4, 2013My husband had a dizzy spell while showering this morning. He fell and pulled the shower curtain down. Thankfully, all is well. Both hubby & the shower curtain are unscathed. Even though the brushed stainless steel shower curtain rings all pulled open and fell from the rod, the rod held and the shower curtain is completely undamaged. None of the grommets tore off and the heavy duty vinyl refused to tear. Still lovin' this shower curtain.

Like others have reported, I recommend letting this air out outside for up to a week. Yes, the chemical smell is that intense. Can't beat the price though (currently $7.88 for the Standard liner in July 2023)

I bought this liner not because of the reasons of clean, sheerness or suction. I bought it because it was long enough and the price was right. This is my second one. The grommets came loose from the curtain when I put in the washing machine.

Since I change my liner frequently due to hard water, soap deposits and that funky smell, I am glad that I finally found the liner that I have been looking for. Made of a slightly thicker commercial weight vinyl that is not the usual thin plastic that you find in the mart type stores.Twelve metal grommets means that the ends will not rip when someone tugs a little too hard. Magnetic weights on the bottom hem that will stick if you have that type of tub. Since my tub is fiberglass, I just like the extra weight on the bottom that prevents the curtain from dancing all over the place.Even though the photo shows it to be opaque, this vinyl shower liner is very clear and can be used either as a traditional liner or as a standalone curtain if you have a fear of someone sneaking up on you.There is the usual plastic smell when you first take it out of the packaging but that soon dissipates.Overall, I was very please with the quality, from the simple sliding of the grommets over the shower rings, to how it hung along the inside of the tub. I know that it is just a simple liner, but finding one that is not made from inferior plastic with little punch holes for the rings can be a very rewarding experience.

The thickness of the curtain is as desired. It is perfectly clear. It is both long enough and wide enough for my needs. It only has 3 weak magnets, so I have had to use additional magnets to keep it in place when I am showering. The metal grommets along the top did eventually begin to rust on the last one of these that I got from this manufacturer, but it was over a period of at least a year, possibly more. The most off-putting thing about this shower curtain is that is really, really puts out a strong chemical smell when new. If you don't want to deal with that, I'd recommend that you hang it in your garage or some other non-living-space of your home for a week or two before you use it.

This was as described, quality material. I have seen it cheaper elsewhere though. I'm just lazy and wanted to have it delivered I guess so that's my fault

Perfect for what I wanted. I love the reinforced rings to prevent the curtain from being ripped (which is why I am replacing my old one). It’s not heavy vinyl but I didn’t want anything too heavy. Just something to protect my fabric shower curtain from moisture.

We have a traditional bathroom with a roll top bath and wanted a shower curtain that wouldn't detract from the design of the room hence we wanted clear. The previous curtain we had lasted all of 3 weeks before the eyelets tore. This curtain has now lasted over 3 months and still going strong. The reinforced eyelets are great. The magnets are an interesting idea but I do wider how many people still have metal baths these days. Surely the majority are now acrylic? Having a PVC shower curtain also mean no chance of mould setting in. If it gets a bit grubby throw in a 30 degree wash and it's sparkly new again.We are very happy with purchase.
