Great initial impressions
The leather is thick with great embossing. So thick it will likely take a while to break it in so that it play nice when adjusting, but definitely should be durable. I do think the color of the buckle looks more copper/brass than the product image, but still looks good. Just not what I was expecting

Nice belt, odd orientation
Belt is a lot longer than expected, but there was just enough Velcro to make it work. The two leather keepers helped as well. The belt looks like decent quality leather, and is surprisingly thick. The buckle looks great, doesn't seem very robust, but should be okay.All in all, a nice package except for one thing. Maybe it's an American thing, but I'm used to belts going through the belt loops in a counterclockwise direction. This one goes the other way, which I suppose isn't a big deal, but it seems odd. The thistle design (on both belt and buckle) is only right side up when the belt is strung this way, so it's not a mistake, it's how it was made.Anyway, it's pretty nice, definitely worth the money, I just need to get over the backwards thing.I'd buy it again, but I'd go one size down.

I bought this to wear with my kilt
I wanted a belt to go with my kilt, and this one fit the bill quite well. It's easy to put on and get off, and goes well with formal Scottish attire. The quality is very good! It's made with leather and the buckle looks nice too.

It's okay...
It is leather, but appears to be bonded leather. The buckle is thin and cheaply finished. A good costume piece for the money, but still just costume. A better buckle will do a lot for it.

Good quality
The quality of the belt is very good, I didn't really need the buckle as I have my own non traditional round buckle that I wanted to use ( seen in the picture). I really only needed the belt, it fits great and easy to adjust. Would definitely buy another one if I needed a second belt.
