Quality machine that makes great coffee.
There are 12 people in my house. I was tired of brewing multiple pots of coffee a day and I love to have it at the ready for guests. It took me a while to get my system going but here it is.I make a gallon of coffee a day and use only 1 cup of grounds to do so.Before bed I dump out any remaining coffee (which is very, very strong!) I rinse the whole thing out with the sprayer on my sink.I add 1 gallon of cold water.I put 1 cup of grounds in the basket.I start the coffee maker. At first it sounds like it is grinding marbles but as the grounds become saturated this stops. When it finished in then next 30-60 minutes, the coffee is weak, but no one is drinking it then. But morning it is strong and very hot. (Most coffee makers seems to brew barely hot coffee, but this is steaming hot.)Adults can fill their to go travel mugs and anyone can have their morning cup of coffee.I leave it on all day and random people get more coffee.I turn it off to cool around dinnertime so I can clean it and start over at bedtime.I do waste some coffee each day, but overall I am using less grounds.I buy coffee beans at costco and grind them there to the right size for a percolator.Yes, the coffee gets stronger and stronger and may taste burnt to some. I call it, a deep roasted flavor. :)So basically, I am using 1/4 cup grounds for each quart of water. If you do not want to make more than 1/2 gallon a coffee a day this is probably overkill. Honestly it is kind of overkill for me. It can make 2 or 3 gallons maybe? But I really wanted my percolator to be stainless steel and not aluminum. So here I have it. And I love it!

Great Urn
This is great urn. All stainless (including the cover) makes the coffee taste delicious. Water heats up quickly and is piping hot. The only negative is that it makes a slight rattling noise while it is on keep warm mode.I contacted the company and they were incredibly responsive and nice. I still have it a 5 star review because if not for the noise, it would have been 8. Also, it fits nicely under my cabinet (16) inches amazing for a 50 cup urn.I want to update my review. I saw the comment by the customer with the broken spigot and the unresponsive ness of the company. My experience was completely opposite. My spigot also broke. The company responded immediately and sent me two replacements free of charge. I removed the broken one and replaced it with the new one and I have a spare if this should happen again. I couldn’t be happier. Wonderful company with terrific customer service. Highly recommend.I would suggest that the seller check with the manufacturer to find out why the spigot breaks so easily and improve on it for the future.

Dissaponted!
Beautiful stainless, works great, and reasonably priced. I used it this past week for a fundraiser for our Senior Center and it brewed 100 cups of coffee in about 30 mins. It is also insulated, so it kept the coffee at just the right temperature. I highly recommend this product. The seller deserves 10 stars for the amazing customer service and making sure it arrived on time. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.December 2018: I'm updating my review because in November of 2018 our beautiful coffee maker just quit working. Our Senior Center bought it in September of 2017 and the guarantee is for 1 year. So, 2 months after the guarantee ran out it is no longer working. I don't think paying that much for 1 year of use is worth it.

Great urn, but doesn't make 100 cups
We love the urn. Purchased it for our church coffee bar and needed a large capacity urn. This is listed as a 100 cup urn, but you can't make any more than 85 cups at maximum (according to the manufacturer instructions). The grounds basket is nice, but again too small for the 100 cup listing. We max out at 7 cups of grounds for the 85 cups. Any more than that and you'll get grounds in the pot and subsequently your coffee. Brew time is about 45 minutes for 85 cups. It took us some time to find the proper grind for the coffee grounds as well, but now we have a GREAT brew.

Product did not last a year
I purchased this coffee pot to be used once a week on Mondays at a one-hour AA meeting( Alcoholics Anonymous). The pot was kept clean and not abused. Now it does not get hot or make coffee at all. I am still under warranty, except I would have to pay shipping costs of fifty dollars to have the company fix the problem This is not worth the trouble. I will never purchase from this company again.

Awesome coffee pot for large groups- lots of nice features
We cook for large groups and this coffee pot is wonderful. All stainless steel makes it easy to clean. Absolutely love the insulated sides and the fine mesh basket which eliminates the need for paper filters. The design is really great. At the top of the basket is a flat disc which disperses the hot water evenly over the coffee grounds as it perks. I also love the sight glass which is calibrated to show how many cups remain in the pot which allows you to tell at a glance when you need to perk another pot. I Definitely recommend this.

other than that it perks and makes coffee like any of them
insulated walls are still way too hot to touch. the front tube to tell the level of the coffee does not work--useless. other than that it perks and makes coffee like any of them. I do like the on/off on the front.

Lots of Coffee in a Flash!
Clean design, large capacity, awesome power - works quickly to heat the water. Used it on the Fourth of July and everyone loved it! If you need to make a lot of coffee quickly, this is the pot for you. And no filters are required. It also is very light when empty so easy to carry. It is stainless steel so no aluminum. You need a big sink to clean it, however. I love the way the top latches on. A nice feature to add would be to make the top pot portion latch on to the bottom electrical heating portion so the pot could be removed for easier cleaning. Sort of just twist on and off between the two parts.
