Enesco Disney Traditions Collection by Jim Shore Beauty and The Beast Storybook Figurine- Resin Hand Crafted Painted Collectible Disney Figurines Decorative Home Decor Statue, 6 Inch

I purchased this figurine about a week ago and could not imagine being more satisfied with it. Jim Shore and Disney have found a wonderful way to recreate a memorable scene from Disney’s, “Beauty and the Beast” into a tangible item. The majority of people, if not all, who have watched this film will remember the enchanting scene when Belle first dances with the Beast. Growing up, I loved watching this movie; so to have this magical scene captured well is, as the French would say, “très fantastique.” Upon opening the container, I had reservations concerning the color consistency, how well it could support itself on my bookcase, and the overall durability. The color quality is in fact true to the image online, as well as the size, but the paint job could have been done a little better; there are a few small spots that bleed into each other. The detailing on the Beast’s suit and Belle’s dress are spot on and tactfully enthusiastic. Before I set it up, I was careful to place it on a large flat service to ensure that it could support itself. As far as its durability, I have not tested that by throwing it on the floor, but it seems to be made out of quality material and arrived in pristine condition without cracks or broken pieces. The liveliness and quality of Belle and the other characters is very realistic and remained genuine to the 1991 Disney adaption of “La Belle et La Bête.” A figurine is not for play, but for adding a chic look to a room. This has been placed on my center bookcase; located in the living room, so that everyone has an optimal view of it when coming and going. I do not recommend this for young children or for playing with and so should not be gifted to someone as such; it would more than likely break or become damaged extremely early on. The intention behind this piece is to be more of a showpiece to be enjoyed on display in a spot for others to view it. This product is a perfect piece for a fan of the story written by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont in 1756, a Disney fanatic, or someone who appreciated this moment in the film.

Bought this for my sister in law that LOVESS beauty and the beast, she recently started collecting things and this is going to be such a great add on. I was kind of scared it was going to arrive broken due to the reviews But it arrived in perfect condition and was packaged well. I was also a bit scared that this was going to be huge for some reason lol but it’s a medium size I’d say it’s perfect sizing. Details are sooo nice, 10/10 would 100% recommend and 100% would buy again 🥰🥰

Purchase this for a Christmas gift. The craftsmanship is very good. The color is nice and it is a good size. Sorry forgot to take a photo of it but do recommend it.

If you are a fan of Beauty and the Beast, you'll want to get this as part of your collection. I bought this as a gift for one of my friends, and it was a perfect gift. :) The craftsmanship of this piece is truly beautiful. The stairs in the background give it a 3D look. Definitely worth buying. :)

I bought this gift for a friend of mine and I have to say, they did a very good job. The paint job on statue was well made and no cracks or broken parts. I believe the broken and crack is a hit or miss when it comes to deliver and packaging. Overall, very happy with my order

This is the 2nd Enesco storybook that i gave to my sister for her birthday, the first was Cinderella. As expected the craftsmanship was excellent, great details and the colors are much more vibrant compared to Cinderella. However, there are some noticeable paint smirks that can be found on the sides if you look closer, perhaps it was due to the fact that each piece is "hand painted" which is a bit disappointing considering it's a bit pricey compared to Cinderella. Looking forward to giving her the rest of the collection, hopefully Little Mermaid is still available next year!

Definitely Beautiful, my 1st from jim shore, very disappointed 😞 when open the box, the chandelier nose arrived broke, probably broke in transit, too fragile to be toss around, that's why I gave only 3 stars, couldn't glue the nose back, cuz the missing piece was not in the box, other than that, definitely a Beautiful beauty and beast figurine, very disappointed that arrived broke, 😔.
