Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo used to be 5 star. Cleaned great and smelled wonderful. Over the last ten years or so the stuff still cleans hair well and leaves it looking good. However, it hardly has any of that luxurious lavender mint smell so 4 stars at best. Maybe they are saving money on the essential oils, or maybe Amazon gets old stock. This generic works just as well and smells as good as or better than the PM ever did. So a solid 5 stars if it cost the same. Cheaper, so 6 Stars.

This is best hair and body shampoo for people that are highly allergic to soaps.The problem was they didn’t deliver to me but put it in a mailbox on the highway with other mailboxes.my mailbox is 250 yards away from our house. I didn’t ask for it to be left in mailbox!!!!!

I can tell the difference between Heinz ketchup and generic ketchup. I can tell the difference between name brand paper towels and generic paper towels. But the real Paul Mitchell and this generic seem identical to me... except for the price.I may not be a shampoo expert, but I'm sold. Perhaps my senses can't discern subtle differences, or perhaps the generic quality control is off and you get good batches and bad batches (and I've somehow managed to ALWAYS get the "good" batches) -- but whatever the reason, I'm delighted with the generic and the cost savings... and will continue to buy this product.I understand that some people may feel strongly that this is some kind of cheap knockoff. But for me, you could do a blind side-by-side compare and I'd never be able to tell the difference. The smell, the lather, the color, the tingle, the consistency, the dandruff control -- ALL there!I'll continue buying and praising this generic until/if I get get burned. The same as most people do with pitting brand against brand with big name products. I have no loyalty to "generics" in general, but I stick with what I like. And I really like this generic Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo.

Helps with flaking. Hair feels soft and smells good.

Lately, my scalp has been dry and itchy. I tried some dandruff shampoos but they made my eyes sting and they really didn't work any miracles. This product is so much better. I use it every other time I wash my hair. My hair feels great, has lots of body, and my scalp doesn't itch as much.
