Don’t do it!!!
This has got to be one of the nastiest things I have tried. My husband has cirrhosis, and it made him fix a Jack and Coke, just to get the taste out of his mouth. We have wasted money on something that no one will ever drink. We couldn’t give this away. I wouldn’t even give it one star.

This non-alcoholic whiskey works well in a variety of cocktails
**MONDAY Zero Alcohol Whiskey - Non-Alcoholic Spirit**As someone who enjoys the flavors of whiskey but is looking to reduce alcohol consumption, I was intrigued by MONDAY Zero Alcohol Whiskey. I hoped it would offer a similar experience to traditional whiskey, allowing me to enjoy my favorite drinks without the alcohol.**What I Like:**- **Complex Flavor Profile**: MONDAY Zero Alcohol Whiskey does a commendable job of mimicking the taste of traditional whiskey. It has a complex blend of smokiness, oak, and subtle caramel notes that are reminiscent of a classic whiskey. This makes it a good alternative for those who miss the flavors of whiskey but want to avoid alcohol.- **Versatile in Cocktails**: This non-alcoholic whiskey works well in a variety of cocktails, from a simple whiskey sour to an old-fashioned. It blends nicely with mixers, bitters, and syrups, providing a familiar whiskey base for your favorite drinks. It’s particularly good for making non-alcoholic versions of classic cocktails.- **Health-Conscious Choice**: For those who are looking to cut back on alcohol for health reasons, MONDAY Whiskey offers a guilt-free alternative. It’s calorie-free, sugar-free, and of course, alcohol-free, making it a mindful option for those who still want to enjoy the ritual of having a drink.- **Elegant Packaging**: The bottle itself is beautifully designed and would look great on any bar cart. The attention to detail in the packaging adds to the overall experience and makes it feel like a premium product.**What I Don’t Like:**- **Mouthfeel and Warmth**: While the flavor is well-crafted, the mouthfeel doesn’t quite match that of traditional whiskey. There’s a noticeable difference in the body and warmth that alcohol typically provides. The lack of that familiar warmth can make the experience feel less satisfying, particularly for those who enjoy whiskey neat.- **Price**: MONDAY Zero Alcohol Whiskey is relatively expensive for a non-alcoholic product. While the quality is good, the cost might be a bit high for something that doesn’t provide the full whiskey experience. This might be a deterrent for regular purchase, especially if you’re comparing it to traditional whiskey.- **Limited Appeal for Whiskey Purists**: If you’re a whiskey enthusiast who loves the depth and complexity of traditional spirits, you might find this non-alcoholic version lacking. It’s a great alternative, but it doesn’t fully replicate the experience of drinking real whiskey.**Bottom Line:**MONDAY Zero Alcohol Whiskey is a well-crafted non-alcoholic alternative that offers a complex flavor profile, making it a good choice for those looking to cut down on alcohol without sacrificing the taste of whiskey. It’s versatile in cocktails and provides a health-conscious option for mindful drinkers. However, the lack of warmth and mouthfeel compared to traditional whiskey, along with the higher price point, may make it less appealing to whiskey purists. If you’re exploring non-alcoholic options and enjoy the flavors of whiskey, MONDAY is worth trying, especially if you’re focused on reducing your alcohol intake.

Another Interesting Option in the NA Whiskey Market
So, allow me to preface this by saying that I have been sober for almost 8 years and my taste buds have therefore been removed from whiskey/bourbon/scotch equally as long. Whiskey *was* my favorite liquor, and off the top of my head I enjoyed Makers, Bulleit, Johnny Walker, and Islay single malts.First, and this isn't something that I would usually devote much time to in a product review: The packaging is beautiful. The cardboard box this bottle comes in, the recipe cards, and the design of the bottle itself are top notch. I have yet to pull this bottle out and someone not say, "Wow! I love that bottle."Smell is good. It smells like whiskey. As for taste, I'll revert back to my low bar for NA spirits based on 'Drinkability'. Almost all of these NA spirits are not meant to be drank on their own, rather they're mixers to make cocktails with. I won't bother even saying how this tastes straight, but I will rate it on the rocks. As with all other NA spirits, I actually recommend serving this chilled because it limits how much the ice will dilute the flavor. On the rocks, it tastes a 2. Some may like the taste, but I didn't enjoy it - it was overly sweet. I have yet to find anything amazing on the rocks, but I have tasted better. Drinkability isn't quite there, on its own you'll be scrunching your nose.Where the Monday shines is in cocktails and mixed drinks, as most of these are designed to be use. That pairs fabulously well mixed with cola or a ginger beer. In these situation, the sweetness (seems like vanilla-is h to me) comes out and pairs well with the soda. The last thing I always like to focus on is mouth feel and burn. The mouth feel is good - its not syrupy like some other brands. And the burn is good, not too much but you definitely feel it. Mouthfeel and burn are both five stars.Overall, I have to end up giving this product a 3. I think this is worth buying to experiment with in cocktails, but it does not stand on its own and its dependent on the cocktail itself. The other downside is the price, coming in at about $10-$20 more than most of the competition. The last thing I'll say, Monday as a company is quite amazing. They offer a satisfaction guarantee and I ultimately decided not to take them up on it after I drank some of their recommended cocktails + I want to see this product range grow, but I appreciated that it is there (especially considering the price).Monday's gin is so far my favorite gin, so even if you don't like this, give their gin a go.

Absolutely disgusting - Zero stars is what this is truly rated
We were so excited to try the gin and whiskey as a Friday treat during Dry January. The beautiful bottles arrived as expected. I was overjoyed at the thought of having that gin taste without the alcohol. NOPE. Not even close. I'm not sure who was handing out the awards that were won, but their credentials should be yanked immediately. I tried a second sip, but it went down the drain. Very disappointing.

Best N.A. Whiskey thus far
I have been searching for a great alternative to bourbon as someone who has decided over the last couple of years to cut back my alcohol intake. My favorite drink is an old fashioned, and this whiskey is the best substitute that I have found. Add just a spoonful of simple syrup or maple syrup and some bitters. For people claiming it’s too sweet, I think they probably just need to adjust other ingredients. I don’t think it’s great by itself, but I don’t think that is the intent. It isn’t bourbon, but similar to some of the good non alcoholic beers that are out there it is a great alternative with a similar experience - something enjoyable to sip and to participate with friends that may enjoy the alcohol alternative versions.
