G-s Hypo-tube Cement - GLU-105.00 : desertcart.in: Industrial & Scientific Review: This stuff worked fantastic for securing a crystal. I used it on a Bulova cocktail watch, and it performed exactly as hoped. The glue dried clear, and since it’s not known to off-gas, I’m not concerned about it affecting the delicate internals of the movement. Once set, the crystal looks great — you honestly can’t tell any adhesive was used at all. It’s now securely fixed in place, and the watch looks untouched, which is exactly the result I wanted. Overall, this is a great product and does the job well — a solid choice for watch repair or restoration projects involving acrylic or mineral crystals. TL;DR: Clear-drying, easy-to-use adhesive that’s perfect for watch crystals. No off-gassing, holds strong, and leaves no visible residue. Great product for precision watch work. This glue is recommended by a number of specialty jewellery parts suppliers that I trust, for specific uses. I've used it to provide extra hold in small knots in leather and to hold metal and leather together. It's easy to use, dispenses evenly (no surprise blobs or bubbles). This a very small tube because you only need a tiny amount so it will go a long way. I have no doubts about the strength of the hold and I love not having to worry about a white or milky look to it when it dries!. Make sure to don't leave the lid off for too long while you work on your project.
