Pressure Positive Co. The Palmassager (Blue)

We bought this massager as I am less than a month away from delivering our first baby. We took a child birthing class at our hospital and while going over different techniques to help during labor, the instructor recommended a similar item to this and we tried it out. My lower back pain has been pretty terrible the further along I get in this pregnancy, and my poor husband's hands/fingers wear out from giving me back rubs. This was obviously the best solution, and for less than 10 bucks I was all for it. I tried it out immediately and I am in love. My husband quickly learned not to press as hard as he would with his fingertips, since it is easy to overdo it with this, but it feels SO good. It is packed in the hospital bag and ready to go, and is definitely one of those invaluable tools that I think will prove to be perfect when the time comes and hopefully save my husband from hurting himself to make me feel better! If I could change one thing I would probably make it a little bigger in the section your hand lays across, but it is not too small - hubby has decent-sized hands and does not have any issues holding onto it.

I've used many plastic massage tools such as this one, but this is by far one of the best. The design is stable and made from a thick plastic, which makes it difficult to break (I have broken plenty of hand-held plastic massage things). I use my body weight with the massage tool by placing it on the problem area of my back then laying on it while on a bed or couch. The flat surface on the massage tool keeps it from breaking unlike the others that break quite easily.

I used this the day of work out, and the two days following. It does really help break up the tissue and knots. Works my chest the best for me personally. It reduces the recovery time for me. I do get tired of using it so i did upgrade to a massage gun. For something cheap and for travel this is perfect though.

My in laws had one of these that they bought many years ago in a close out store. I was so excited when I found it on Amazon because I had such fond memories of my back massages from their house. Now that I'm pregnant I need it more than ever but surprisingly haven't used it a lot. I like the color and it looks just like the picture. Texture is hard plastic, similar to a hard plastic shot glass. It feels great on my back and my husband doesn't mind running it down my back because it takes very little effort on his part but the friction on my shirt is uncomfortable and straight on my back hurts (unless I use copious amounts of lotion). Can't complain though, and the price was excellent. (I would give 4.5 stars if possible, just not a full 5 stars because it doesn't run smoothly.)

Can't really say much more about this product than what's already been said! These fit PERFECTLY in our hands, and allow us to go deeper without much effort at all, with the design giving you a surprising amount of leverage. Sometimes just one nub feels awesome (as when my wife goes DEEP under my shoulder at that burning "mouse-use bump" that I get); and at other times, it feels great to have all 3 nubs going at once across your back and butt for a little well-earned tension and stress relief. :) The ONLY negative (not really) is that they are so smooth that they will sometimes disappear into the folds of our couch. LOL. Phenomenal product, though. HIGHLY recommend getting a few of them just so you have one in reach. More touching, in my opinion, means fewer wars in the world.

It's a little on the small side, and it's molding quality leaves a little to be desired. I chose this massager to help with sore wrists, hands, and fingers while giving a massage. It does help a little with this, but I ultimately switch back and forth between using this and just using hands. It does help target tight muscles and knots and helps put more pressure in specific spots that would otherwise take a toll on the massager's fingers.Bottom line: it helps, but isn't a major improvement over just using your hands.

I bought this for my girlfriend to use on her and for her to use on me (more so the latter), which has worked out well. That said I now use the product much more on myself as I'm a runner and this is great for working out knots in your calves when sitting down and watching TV. I also use a roller but this is an awesome product to get really deep. I really like the grooves for your fingers/thumbs above each node and the fact they are different sizes. The size of the product is great as it will fit in a suitcase without a second thought. Great massager for both light and deep massaging by either a partner or self.

My boyfriend has a bad shoulder so I wanted to get him some type of massage product. I was looking at a few of the battery operated ones and there were too many bad reviews about them being too weak or dying out quickly. But I don't remember one bad review regarding this product and even though I thought it looked odd and cheap, I ordered it. My boyfriend and I tried it out and it was amazing. He loved it! Don't let its looks fool you, the other reviews were right, this works wonderfully. It tickled and felt strange at first but then it felt so good. Can't go wrong with this and it'll never die and be useless like the battery ones.
