Great for Daycare
We purchased two cribs for an in home daycare. The instructions were not user friendly, but the cribs are high quality and they look great.

See through end a big plus
Update 3/8/2013I am very pleased with this purchase. I changed my rating from 4 stars to 5. The part I like best is the see through end. My baby sleeps in it most of the time now.--------------------------------------------------Positives:+ we were able to put it together and all the pieces were included - nothing missing+ baby likes the mirror although she bumps her head on it trying to play with the baby in the mirror+ I *think* the mattress is okay after reading about it on the Foundations website- I could not find anything more "green"+ The latch system is easy to open and shut, however is a little squeaky+It appears easy to clean+ I don't see anyway that she could climb out of it.+ although it is called compact, it is large enough for my baby for the next 2 years at least.+the mattress was included+wiling to ship to Alaska+the see through end is really effective and helpfulDisappointments:- The safe reach still does not go down low enough for my short husband with a bad back. However I could not find anything else on the market that was better-the information provided on the amazon page is really insufficient and does not tell you enough. Go to the Foundations website for more info- My baby constantly bumps her head on all parts of this and this is a fault of *all cribs* as far as I can tell. (She sits up so bumpers are not advised bc she can use them to climb out.) For this reason, she still mostly sleeps with us on a mattress on the floor next to the crib and the crib is used for short naps.-I cannot find anything yet that fits it well, and I have lost money on buying things I thought would fit. It is not a standard size mattress by any means. That might have been obvious to others since it has the word "compact" in the title but I am new to parenthood. My priority in finding a crib was something that we didn't have to reach over so far to put the baby in.-If anyone can point me to sheets, etc that fit this mattress I would appreciate it.

Love it!!
this is a neat baby bed! I love that we can roll it from room to bed, it fits very nicely through the door frame. We've found it works amazingly well with the baby monitor, we just aim the monitor at the mirror end and we can see the whole bed clearly. I like the smaller size since our granddaughter only visits occasionally and this is very easy to store. The mattress is a nice thickness and fits snugly in the bed. Couldn't be happier with the purchase!

It's easy to see that they tried everything they can do ...
I inticipated a five star product, but I can only give it four stars. It's easy to see that they tried everything they can do in order that it should be a high quality product.Still, the screw and bolts it came with were a huge source of aggravation and frustration. It seemed that the threads wouldn't match well to the cap part, and kept screwing on crooked. After about an hour and a half, I forced the remaining defected screws and it worked. This is a reason not to recommend it to a friend that I care about.Second, the plexiglass end and the mirror end are both made very thinly.Third, some of the wood needs to be sanded down. It can hurt a child or even a parent.I wish I could give it a full positive report for all the high quality parts and thought that went into the designing, but for $286 I expected not to have to put up with these problems.
