My hairdresser recommended this gel to me. I have very thick curly hair that tends to frizz easily. I wasn't having luck with drug store gel options. This is great quality and a little goes a long way. My curls are more defined and with a lot less frizz. Apply while hair is sopping wet. Scrunch curls and then either air dry or diffuse. Once hair is completely dry, I'll take a tshirt or a hair towel and break the cast. Beautiful curls that aren't weighed down.

Works great for styling my short, thick hair.

I have used this for a few years. Occasionally, I use too much, and it leaves my hair too crunchy. But if I use just a little, my hair is soft and holds a curl. Overall, it does a good job of helping my hair hold a style and cuts down the frizzies.

The Kenra Styling Gel was a Fantastic product, and was even hard to get because it was usually sold out in stores. For some reason, Kenra has now changed the formula. It used to be gel, and now it's so watery it pours out of the container, and doesn't work near as well. I thought I may have gotten a counterfeit product from my Amazon order, but when compared a tube of the "gel" at a salon, it was also watery They need to change the product name to "Kenra Styling Liquid" because it is not a gel anymore. I don't understand when a company makes a fantastic product, and then ruins it to save a few pennies....(are they even? The tube had to come in a shrink-wrap, to keep the liquid from leaking out of the container....never needed it/never came that way before.) Kenra-please go back to your original formula!!!

One of the worst gels in the market. Has zero hold and smells of cleaning chemical. Overpriced garbage .
