Just what I needed

I use these shackles to make several different items ! They work great more often than not ! My only complaint is I get on average (sometimes more ) one out of 10 that the pin won’t stay engaged if I try to tighten it to any degree ! Other than that I’m totally satisfied

these are excellent quality except for the paint. i'd recommend NOT buying the black ones as the paint comes off rather quickly.

These really help with putting lines on our crap traps, and being stainless they are so much easier to put on or off.

These are a good value with 10 in the package and well constructed from a very good stainless steel. Pins fit snug with good thread on both body and pin. The tight fit is generally a plus but keep this in mind of you are tightening the pin with pliers or using these in wet or broad temperature fluctuations as the connection will tend to gall (making it much harder to loosen the pin). The only shortcoming in they are 3.7 to 3.8mm diameter on both body and pin. While this is only ~5% smaller than the advertised size, it changes the opening width ratio assumed from the pictures and the working load. The advertised inner diameter is 9mm but it is actually slightly less than 8mm.The variation from the specs the seller advertises may have no effect on many users, so I only deducted a single star, as the still seem a good value.

Well made. I would also have liked the product but in a smaller size.....perhaps 2.5 - 3mm, which should be possible.
