Should Have Bought These for Kid #1, Too...
These are a friggin’ life saver! My toddler is a big eater! He has been eating whatever I eat since he started solids, he is a very good eater! Since I would just tear off pieces of my food for him, these were exactly what we needed to put the food right in front of him. He’s almost two, and we still use these a lot—and there are so many in this pack, we haven’t had to order more yet! It’s a great deal and if mine got lost or damaged I would absolutely re-order these in a heartbeat! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because occasionally you’ll get one with a missing sticky section, and sometimes they don’t stick all that well. But overall I do recommend them.

Might work for a less mischeivous kid than mine.
They were a good idea, and we will probably try using them again someday, but our toddler immediately figured out how to peel them off and then was obsessed with doing do. I admit I didn't read the description closely, and was surprised that they had a peel-n-stick border. I was expecting more of a static-cling type placemat. These take a little more time than I'd like to use, and when you're also trying to hold on to a toddler - every second counts.

Cute, but non-functional
These are literally pointless, they do not stick at all! Literally unstuck before my toddler even approached the table. My husband even thought there wasn't adhesive on the sides. 1 star for cute design and the plastic is good quality thickness. Per the response of the company on a previous review, other mats can leave partial adhesive residue when removed but you just remove slightly more carefully, which is totally worth it because they do not move at all.

Why didn't we get something like this sooner
Why didn't we get something like this sooner. I suppose it is sort of gross going to restaurants and your toddler dropping food on the table to pick it up again. We did go to one restaurant and when we peeled off the place-mat it either left a sticky square residue or it actually peeled off part of their varnish. I think it might of been their type of table because I haven't seen that issue since.

Waste of money
My 11 month old rips these off the table as soon as I put it down. Not nearly sticky enough and the sticky part doesn't go all the way to the ends. Waste of money
