My cats love this flavor!
I feed two feral cats & wanted to help keep their oral health in good shape. I ordered the Purina DentaLife treat in chicken & salmon, they love both flavors.

Cat won't allow you to brush his teeth........try this.
Madison loves these and it does a great job keeping his teeth in great shape. I WOULD PULL BACK NUBS IF I EVER TRIED TO BRUSH HIS TEETH!

I made up the review
The 3 categories for rating this product are flavor, scent, and value for the money. Well, I guess me as the owner of the cat, I would not be able to speak to the flavor and scent part of the rating...... ;)The only thing I can tell is, Simba the cat loves the midnight dental treat. And this is the only dental treat that he would not gobble down without chewing. Kinda of defeat the purpose of the dental part of the treat if a cat can just swallow without chewing. This reason alone is enough for this dental treat to be top ranked!! Enough said!@!

My cats eat these, but the directions say they need 17 PER DAY!?!
My cats liked these dental chews right away, and I'm glad I bought the large plastic jar full of them, because the directions are ridiculous!According to the label, you have to give your cat 17 of these treats PER DAY to get their teeth clean! SEVENTEEN!!! I wish I had known that, because at 17 a day, this jar will likely last barely a month. That makes these not a great value for the price... The directions also say the treats can't count for more than 10% of the cat's daily caloric intake (probably because the treats don't have proper amounts of taurine or vitamins, etc, to be a food substitute), but with 17 a day, I don't see how that is possible.I guess Purina is saying, "don't replace one of your cat's daily meals with these dental treats, even though 17 treats are basically 1 whole meal." My compromise was to cut the number in half, and give my cats 8 of these each, a few times a week. I hope that is enough to keep their teeth somewhat clean.BTW - you HAVE to clean your cat's teeth! If you don't do it with treats or water treatments or toothbrushing, by the time your cat gets to be 10 years old, they might start losing their teeth, making eating difficult and risking infection. If you don't give them treats, you should use a water supplement. I don't like oral water treatments because of the long list of chemicals on the label. If you can't do either, brush your cat's teeth with a cat toothpaste.I do brush one of my cat's teeth because he is docile enough to let me do it, but my other cat would kill me if I tried. The only other alternative is an annual expensive ($800+) teeth cleaning at the vet. The vet has to put the cat asleep to clean their teeth, which is both expensive and bad for their health. So I'm hoping these treats do some good, even if I only give half the recommended amount, a few times a week instead of daily. I won't know if they work until a few years, and my vet can evaluate my cats' teeth.

My cat loves her breakfast and dinner treats that keep her mouth healthy.
Since I feed my cat wet food, I needed a way for her to clean her teeth every day and these were advertised to do just that. While she loves the TEMPTATIONS and has learned tricks with them as rewards...she loves it when I ask her if she wants "breakfast treats", and runs into the kitchen to the spot where I feed them to her. She recommends them for taste, and I recommend them for not having to brush my cat's teeth! Just like humans: the health of your teeth affects the health of your body...and my cat is a happy and healthy 5-year-old. We shall see if she continues to have a perfect annual check-up each year as I am hoping she will be a loving cuddly 15 year old someday.

You must buy these
My dog and cat both went from decent dental checkups to great ones after using these. In fact, my cat got a compliment on his teeth last vet visit. These are affordable and actually do what they say they will. Plus, it is a treat so you can care for them and treat them at the same time. I would not buy anything else because these work so well. If you have a cat you must check out the cat version.

My cat loves these treats!
I buy these every couple of months. I only have 1 cat, so this size container lasts a long time. She loves them and will actually drool for them. They are her favorites.
