WheelMaster 26" Alloy Mountain Disc Double Wall

I bought two wheel sets, about two years ago, to have as a second set of pavement wheels and tires for my Marin mountain bike. I mounted schwalbe marathon 26" x 1.5 tires. Bike with a rear heavy duty rack weighs 50 plus pounds, dog rides on rack, another 55 pounds, plus 200 pound rider and another 20 pounds of misc gear, often the whole combo is 325 pounds of total weight. I have ridden over 1000 miles and need to replace the rear schwalbe tire because of the heavy weight. The wheels and rims have been perfect, I have not had to even true them, only made some minor tension adjustments. I have been very impressed with the performance of these wheel sets.

I was having problems with Bent Axles on Freewheel Hubs for the longest time. Heard Freehub wheels are a cure for the Freewheel hub with its bent axles. Been riding for months now and it's still working great and no bent Axle!

Excellent low cost value yet quality product for the money. I purchased these to build a second set of tires/rims with disc brakes for my mountain bike to hv set of less aggressive tread/tires for path and road riding to be able to switch out from off-road tread/tires whenever I wanted to. I am pleased with these rims considering the value, durability, meeting my expectations/purposes.**My only complaint was is the packaging, excellent box plenty of paper but rims were touching each other and no paper between rims or between box Sides and rims so protection properly during shipment could’ve been much better. However rims were not damaged when received. Just FYI to the packaging folks

I honestly thought that I was buying something that was useful. I even did research on the product.So, here it is:1. The rim itself is the right size 26 in2. The number of spokes is correct at 363. The size of the spoke nipples is not the correct size. Thought I was buying a rim with 13mm size spoke nipples. Turns out that the spoke nipples on this rim are much much smaller. So small that my spoke wrench won't fit. This has to be a size 16 or 17mm nipple.I not only lost money but I lost a chance to make potential money on an ebike motor.Thanks for nothing.

I am an avid mountain biker who is rough on bikes. I purchased a new bike just before the pandemic caused a surge in interest in cycling and there was a problem the the brakes. Due to new interest in bikes the replacement parts for the new bike were going to take WEEKS to arrive. It is at this point that I decided to repair my old bike and continue riding. So I ordered this rim...It arrived rapidly, it is made in the USA, the packaging was outstanding, and the rim was true. I have several hundred miles on the rim and it is holding up like a champ. If you are looking for a no frills basic mountain bike rim, I highly recommend this product.

My son came home with a trashed mountain bike-quality but in bad shape. I didn't want to spend too much on a bike that might not work well so I bought this. The wheel came in about a week. It was straight and worked well after I adjusted the tension-it was a little too tight from the factory. Otherwise, it's been a great pickup.

Everything about the wheel was great, except the Freehub threads were stripped. I had to replace the entire freehub before I could use the wheel on my bike.

Came in good packaging. Wheel was true right out of the box. Just bolted the cassette on and tire / tube and was ready to go.
