I like how neutral this bag is. For such an expensive bag, it looks nice. The side padding is also good. In order to put your dog in it, you have to move the straps across the back of the bag, which is a little difficult, and I have to get the zipper started a little bit as well or it sticks and my dog starts to get in the way before I can close it. My miniature dachshund, who was 5.5 pounds when I bought this and is now 7.5 pounds, has been able to escape through the head opening the entire time and is prone to doing so if I set the bag down. Thankfully the inner clip keeps her from dashing away, but she can still start dragging the bag. I have just sewn in a large snap to hopefully eliminate that problem. Despite those issues, I would have given a it 4 stars, but over the past few days I noticed that it was coming apart in three places, despite not having been used too much in the two months that I've had it. The netting at the front of the head opening, where you see the dog's chest in this photo, had come all the way apart, and there were two holes along one of the bottom seams where it had come unstitched. I paid less than $20, so I'm not shocked at the quality. I'm hoping that with the attention I have given it, I will be happier with this bag, but you may want to keep looking.

my chihuahua loved it (she's big for a chihuahua and has outgrown it as she now weighs about 12lbs), she can fit still but it's tight. she could stay hidden if she felt like it but could stick her face out any time (not completely sealed in). it's soft with a hard padded bottom so she was very comfortable and could see out and get fresh air while laying down. This looks like a purse, i carried it on my shoulder and it is really well made with no rips or tears after using it for over a year, in fact it still looks new. material is nylon-like and can be wiped down if any accidents. People didn't even know it was a dog carrier. I came back to write this review as i am having difficutly finding something similar that my dog Blue is comfortable in, i've tried several so far but none as good as this.

I have a 11 months, 8 pound morkie. I have tried and bought several bags before for my dog and this one we both love it.The bag is very nice, elegant and easy to carry.I just have one positive comment and suggestion to the maker of that product. The shoulder straps that it's sewed to the bag, the stitches needs to be reinforced. On the first day that I used the stitches came off and i had to stitched over again by hand. You can see in the pictures that the top part of the strap in the bag is loose

I bought this bag in May, but did not use until July for a road trip for our son's wedding with our 4 lb. tea cup Poodle. Sad to say that on the third time of use, the zipper broke and we were not able to close the zipper. Please note we did not use for hours on end but very sporadically. While we liked the bag, seems the quality of the zipper is very poor. Also the straps tied together was very uncomfortable to use and put our pet into the bag. The handles kept getting in the way, a longer handle would have been nice. I would not recommend this bag.

This is a super cute bag for our princess. However, I am disappointed with a few things. One, the zipper does not stay closed when you zip it, so if your pet wants to be curious and stand to look around, the back zips open and if you do not have them hooked to the nice little change provided inside, your pet may get out, jump down and may get hurt. Second, I was disappointed that there was no little pocket anywhere on the bag to put things in it, like treats, poop bags, etc. Third, I was surprised at the size of the bag. There really is no room for the pet to get c0omfy, unless it is very small, less than 8 lbs maybe. For the price, I expected more.

This is a nice little bag! It's perfect for my Maltese puppy. The material is what you would expect for a bag whose purpose is to carry an animal and its sturdier than a sling. The design is nice and is as pictured. My Maltese is about 4 pounds in this picture as she's only 14 weeks, but it's roomy enough for her to fit in when she's older.

The mesh sides are the best feature of this bag but the straps are terrible. They are linked together with a plastic piece which makes them difficult to keep on the shoulder. They are too short to wear cross-body and tied together like they are can easily slip off the shoulder dropping to the ground (!!!!) also, the attraction to the opening causes a severe shift in weight and bag slopes forward. The other shift and doggy falls into rear corner and cannot get uphill. I would return this bag if possible but the 30 days ran out while I was out-of-town. I ordered a different bag and my 3 lb doggy loves it. This will go to consignment.

I have a 8 lb 13 year old senior dog with very long legs and she fit perfectly in this bag! She loves having her head out and the mesh on either side keeps her ventilated and not overheat in the subways during nyc summers. The strap design is a bit strange. It's not designed so you can put them on either side so you can unzip the top and put your dog in. Otherwise it's not too heavy even with dog inside.
