It holds pins, not much else to say. It’s not been knocked on the floor yet so it being durable has yet to be tested

Fantastic and lines the pins up
I love this next to my sewing machine. The magnet is very strong and I merely flick the pin towards the pin block, and it's pulled an lined up with the sharp end toward the center. It's magical.
