Excellent resource
Bought this book for my son, who is very in to Parkour. It is the best we've gotten with detailed training tips, " how to" s and suggestions to set up a course. Lots of pictures to support training. An excellent resource, so much so, that we've purchased more copies to give as gifts!

The pictures are great and give you great insight into the training process ...
Pros:The pictures are great and give you great insight into the training processThe set up and instruments they use give you a good idea on what to look for with respect to training spotsCons:The explanations are worded differently and hard to understand in some partsThis book is more of an introduction (in my opinion) than a true manual for the artSome of the pictures are poorly framedI recommend this book to add to your collection, but do not count on it as a sole guide.

It's a very nice feature, and it's worth the read if you're ...
I still have this book and I read it seldom now. It's a very nice feature, and it's worth the read if you're into Urban Sports.

Best for learn!
I loved this book! It has everything you have to know about parkour as a beginner. And more of it I think it can be useful for an instuctor. As it writes about the history, techniques and many other stuffs. You can learn from it at home. Best buy i think. From the four i read till now.

Spectacular book
I have read and practiced from many fitness training books and I found this one surprisingly great to read and understand. This book begins with history, goes into the science of training and adaptations, and then gets into training. I plan on reading and training from all the parkour books I can get my hands on and if I find a better book than this one I will be very surprised. I understood all of the descriptions and the pictures are beautifully done (Now I just have to copy the movements!).Kristofer Ryan, Author of "Power Yoga For Prisoners and Others Desiring Change"Interview - http://kristofer108.wix.com/yoti

Worth the price. Good use of progressions
One of the issues one often finds in a training book is that they're written to have you perform a given action all at once. This book remedies that issue by providing progressions for all of the movements, allowing you to start on the easier moves and then progress to the actual movement, and then variations thereof. The book is a little bit pricey, but I think that it is ultimately worth it for the volume of information that you receive.

Good introduction into the world of Parkour and Freerunning.
This book was pretty simple but I still liked it. Complements actual practice. From its history to its "philosophy" it was well written and easy to follow. I recommend it.

Excellent book for study
Purchased this book for my 15 y.o. nephew who has been practicing parkour for several years already. He found it informative, interesting and helpful, even though the subject is difficult. It was probably the nicest way to make him practice both subjects at the same time - parkour and English. Nice results.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it.The intro is a book long but apparently very informative and enjoyable to read. He's already running around like a kid, sometimes I feel like his mother. He's pretty fit and is able to use his own body as its own weight and he ispicking it up fast (in between work)I say that if you're looking at it, stop looking and start doing it.I have a few friends in to parkour and they all rate this pretty high.PEEEACE
