Innovative Glass - Great Buy
We ordered these for our last New Year's Eve party and I could not be happier. I am one of those people who get sweaty hands just thinking of delicate glass products such as expensive wine and champagne glasses - I remember using the Rosenthal wine glasses we received for our wedding for the first time and pretty much immediately breaking one because it slightly hit the side of the sink while I rinsed it.Introduce the Schott Zwiesel Tritan - THE solution for klutzes like me! Accidentally hit the glass on the sink - the glass remains intact, put it in the dishwasher - it comes out unharmed. Wow. You can even bang two glasses together 'relatively' hard (think guests that have had one or two too many and cannot judge their strength that well anymore :-)) and nothing happens! Wow.As to the style, I really like the simple, no frills shape of the Diva collection as I am not one for etchings or crystal cuts, etc. These go with any style and that makes them even more useful. A great buy and really not too expensive if taking the reduced breakability into account. With other glasses, chances are I would have to replace them much more often so I am very satisfied with this purchase and wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Beautiful Glasses
This set of glasses came very quickly.Clearly marked fragile with bubble wrap in the box along with them. They were all perfect no chips or scratches. They are a little bigger tan I imagined they would be but i love them. They have a nice weight to them and are of a high quality. Best of all I really think the technology used in making these glasses surely made a difference in the flavor of the wine. My friend and I did a side by side comparison with one of my old glasses that was similar in shape. We bold noticed a difference not only in the aroma of the wine but the mouth feel and flavor as well. The wine had a richer more full bodied flavor in these glasses!!! I swear! Try is for yourself. These are great glasses. They do also feel very sturdy, like they will hold up well.

Schott Zwiesel Tritan Burgundy Red Wines Glasses are worth your consideration.
As a life-long wine drinker, I typically drink wine from my Riedel pinot noir glasses that they give you at the winery during special weekends (like Memorial Day or around Thanksgiving Weekend). I like the size and feel, and most certainly the bouquet after swirling the wine. That said, I have broken so many of them given that they are relatively delicate. So, to purchase some new glasses, I found that prices are much higher than I would have expected. The Riedel Performance pinot noir wines glasses are currently listed at $89 for 2 glasses as of this writing. The Schott Zwiesel glasses were only $82 for 6 glasses, so I thought I'd give them a try.The glass is a bit rounder than the Riedel, and the stem taller than I expected, but after a few evenings of drinking wine, I've come to really enjoy the new glasses. They seem to me less delicate than the Riedel's, and the stem is very comfortable (and sturdy) in the hand. While reading some of the comments here, people have mentioned issues using the dishwasher. In my opinion, I would only hand wash nice wine glasses. I feel like the Schott is a much higher quality product. But there again, why would a winery give you a $40+ glass? Perhaps the Riedel's I've been drinking out of all these years are on the lower end of the price spectrum. In any event, I'm very happy with my purchase. In another year, I may decide to try another glass shape if these stand of time. Cheers!

Love my glasses!
I purchased these glasses in Germany while vacationing and have had a hard time finding replacments and finally I found these on Amazon.com for a very good price! At other well known retailers, I've priced them for $79 and up for one glass! These are the same brand but from a new collection so they are about 1/2 mm shorter than mine (not noticeable). There are a few inconsistencies with the seams on the stems (my original ones from Germany do not have any noticable seams on the stems). I can live with the minor imperfections for this price as these glasses are fabulous for drinking and tasting red wines. They are durable and have been in the dishwasher although I typically wash them by hand. I don't test their resiliency on purpose but have dropped them onthe counter and in the sink. The one that I sought to replace didn't win out over the ceramic floor sadly to say. Good news, on amazon.com I replaced the one glass and got five extra for the price of 1 glass at Nordstroms!

Great at first.....
I bought a set of 6 of these glasses a year ago as our Reidel glasses kept slowly breaking, and these were supposed to be bullet-proof. One year later, they're all gone. Drop them on the floor, no problem, but they seem to develop microcracks around the rim and you'll be washing one and it will shatter into a zillion pieces. At the end of the day, the Reidel slowly break, but over the last year, we lost one Reidel Cabernet glass to 6 of the Schott-Zwiesel Bourdeaux glasses.

Pretty but small!
Pretty glasses and they seem durable enough! I’d rate them higher but if they were bigger - maybe I misunderstood the size they’d be but the red wine glasses are huge and gorgeous and these are shorter and quite small for the cup size. I know different types of wine require different size glasses but these just don’t go with the beautiful red wine ones.

Good compromise between elegance and durability
This is elegant-appearing stemware, although not quite as delicate in appearance as some of the really, really best. It is modestly breakage resistance, as I have had one knocked over on the tabletop and it didn't break. But then I've had others break. I've twisted off the stem while hand drying, but that can be avoided if you're careful. But we also routinely put them in the dishwasher and have never had one break in the dishwasher. We've used these for years and have certainly broken a few, but they're a reasonable compromise between elegance and durability.

Large and very easy to swirl
These are very large globe wine glasses, very easy to swirl the wine without spilling. Overall a great value!
