I'm a bit of a mug connoisseur (ahem... snob). I love opening my kitchen cabinet and picking from my carefully curated collection. I do have a rule now that there is no room left in the cabinet -- if I see a mug I want, I have to get rid of multiple of the existing collection. This makes it a big decision because I don't dislike any of them. So, I thought about getting this mug for a while and finally decided to order it. I'm not disappointed and haven't opened my cabinet for days because this is literally the only mug I've used -- for coffee, tea, water, and even diet coke because it's such the perfect mug. It's a great size too. My greatest concern was how it would do in the dishwasher and it's already been through multiple times and still looks great.

Absolutely in love with this mug! I bought it for my father who raised me as a Trekkie. The picture is super clear and I love the different starships they have on it!! Honestly will be ordering me one as well!! It’s the perfect nerdy Star Trek mug and a great price too!! Definitely recommend!!!

I'm a coffee lover, so much so, that it I would not be surprised if it were to my detriment. Sharing that is purely to indicate my necessity for a dedicated hot beverage vessel. Since purchasing this mug approximately 2 months ago, I have not once over the course of hundreds of cups of coffee, used another mug. Not once. Alas, my Star Wars mugs warrant repeated dustings from their perch on my kitchen shelf. It feels as though they peer down, enviously, longing again for the day that I might splash scorched Italian Roast into their receptacles. The girth and depth of my Star Trek mug is perfect. The artwork has been administered stupendously, each ship a faithful recreation of its source material. So many washes and nary a trace of dimishing brilliance. I am currently in the midst of a Star Trek rewatch, and do love being able to enjoy my favorite beverage in such a beautifully rendered homage to my favorite show, while watching of course. My only regret is that I did not write this review sooner, as the mug, and its manufacturer are quite deserving of the five stars. To any of you considering making the purchase, "Make it so number one."

I bought this for my fiance for his birthday, and to say the least, it was a hit. Having gotten him hooked on Star Trek and loose-leaf tea, this seemed like the perfect gift. The images of the different ships are excellent--clear, recognizable, and labeled with the name of their respective captain. Though we enjoy watching any of the shows, we're both fans of Star Trek Voyager. It can be difficult to find affordable, quality merchandise depicting that particular vessel (and not based around Captain Janeway's coffee addiction). As for the mug itself, it's significantly wider than an average coffee mug. It seemed fairly heavy-duty, and I think it should last a long time. Hand-washing it will probably extend the lifespan of the decoration, but even then it doesn't seem like the type to fade or peel easily. The box it came in was attractive, so I didn't have to worry about repackaging the mug before wrapping it. All in all, it was a good call.
