Gate DIP Instructions- Works Great!
This remote is one of the best purchases on Amazon. Works amazing. Once I figured out programming the DIP for gate.(You can only program one DIP)I purchased the two button remote open the gate to our neighborhood, second button for garage door.Garage door programming went fine, as described in the instructions. The DIP instructions for my gate code or not correct. Here is how to do it correctly. On your new remote press the learn button until the light turns blue pointed at your gate then press as many times as needed until the gate opens. Then press the learn code button again.

worked for only 2 month with brand new battery
I used it for a dip switch configuration. It works great now that I figured out the instructions. Here's a clearer version. 1) remove the battery compartment cover to expose the dip switches; 2) arrange the switches to match exactly the pattern on the original remote or on your garage door motor; 3) press the small red button next to the battery until the red (not blue) led lights up solid; 4) using the chart provided in the instructions, press the button you want to associate with your garage door the indicated number of times, for example, 12 times. Each time you press the button the led will flicker briefly. 5) When finished, press the small red button next to the battery again. The remote should now be programmed. Repeat for another garage door. Note: the garage door might open/activate when you are programming and you press the designated button for the last time.*****************Follow up: This device began malfunctioning after a couple of months with a brand new battery, now it doesn't work at all. Past the return date and made overseas, so no remedy. Waste of money. Do Not Buy.

Showed up with a dead battery
CONS:4.2V for a 9V battery is worthless. Have a good one on hand. The door is horrible and not smooth to operateSuper fine screw thread that come with it to mount it; Use your own or you'll be turning it for days into wood, as it doesn't really bite into wood for anything. #bruteforceCannot stop the operation with one button, like my old control (I could push enter when door was closing and it would stop and re-open). This remote requires you to re-enter the code.. -PROS:Was able to program it after the 4th try, when I realized I was not reading it properly..Illumination is good and brief when you're pushing keys.Proper programming:enter Program mode ( * + # )enter channel 1 or 2 ( 1 1 # )enter factory program code for that channel ( 1111# )push learn button on GDOenter your newly programed code ( 1234# )Light will blink or whatever your GDO doesenter your newly programmed code, door should operate.

Keypad seems to work OK but, OMG, the programming instructions SUCK!
I was probably jerking around trying to program the keypad for over 6 hours with the included instructions. I have the older Stanley opener with the 10 digital switches. Between the confusing 1111# and the 2222#, then figure out and enter my digiswitch 10 number code, plus #, it was a nightmare. I tried to get help on youtube but could only find the "learn" button videos. After 4 hours of frustration I had contacted Amazon to send the keypad back. The next day I was still determined to beat the little bast*rd so I started again writing everything I needed to do on a piece of paper. I finally got it to work once with the 1111# code, then tried to change code, DOA. Watching the videos I noticed that some keypads needed the code and another number or symbol to work. That led me to try the new code plus the # key and door opened/closed. Seller could have saved me a lot of time putting that little detail at the end of the instructions. It almost cost them a sale!
