Such a good read!
š Synopsis:Imagine being kidnapped by aliens, thinking that's the worst life could throw at youāonly to be proven wrong. When mechanical troubles force their captors to abandon them, Georgie Carruthers and her fellow human captives are stranded on a frigid ice planet. The first local she meets? Vektal, a towering, horned, blue alien who is intensely intrigued by her.š„ Thoughts:Who knew a chilly premise could lead to such heartwarming, steamy encounters? Despite being thrown into an icy world, Georgie finds warmth in the tribal leader, Vektal. Their relationship, peppered with cultural missteps and language barriers, grows believably and endearingly. The humor is just as delightful, keeping me chuckling and covering my mouth through much of the tale. While the world-building could be expanded, it doesn't detract from the engrossing story and fiery romance.š¬ Why Read:If youāre in the mood for a quick, entertaining read thatās both spicy and sweet, this book hits the mark. The mix of danger, humor, and romance crafts a compelling narrative that's hard to put down. The spice level? Intense and surprisingly funāyou might find yourself exploring new territories in taste!š Series Potential:Iām officially hooked and canāt wait to dive into the rest of the series. Ice Planet Barbarians offers an escapade thatās equal parts silly and seductive. Now I get the hypeāit's addictively outrageous!š Verdict:Don't let the wild premise deter you; this book is a gem. A perfect blend of zany plot and earnest character interaction makes it a standout. Definitely recommend for those looking for something a bit different in their sci-fi romance reads!#bookstagram #RubyDixon #IcePlanetBarbarians #romancebooks #scifiromance #bookreview #booklover #readingaddict

A Fun and Hot Read
FINAL DECISION: A unique and steamy sci-fi romance that transports readers to a distant ice planet where human women and alien barbarian men forge unexpected connections. Ruby Dixon's imaginative world-building and sizzling chemistry between the characters make for an entertaining read.THE STORY: Georgie Carruthers, along with a group of other human women, finds herself abducted by alien slavers and stranded on a desolate ice planet. Struggling to survive in the harsh environment, Georgie encounters Vektal, the leader of a primitive tribe of alien barbarian men. As Vektal helps Georgie adapt to life on the ice planet, the two discover a powerful attraction that transcends their differences. But with danger lurking around every corner and cultural misunderstandings threatening their budding relationship,OPINION: Ice Planet Barbarians is a delightful escapist story. Dixon's creative premise and attention to detail in crafting the Ice Planet setting drew me in from the start. The contrast between the human women and the alien barbarian men creates a dynamic that allows for both humor and heart.Georgie is a relatable and resilient heroine, adapting to her new surroundings while maintaining her sense of self. Vektal, though initially intimidating, proves to be a protective and caring partner, learning to understand and appreciate Georgie's human quirks. The chemistry between them is scorching hot, with Dixon balancing the steamy scenes with moments of tenderness and emotional connection. The supporting cast of characters, including the other human women and the members of Vektal's tribe, add depth and richness to the story. (And plenty of future couples).WORTH MENTIONING: The unique "resonance" concept between the alien barbarians and their mates adds an intriguing layer to the romantic relationships in the story, raising questions about fate versus choice.CONNECTED BOOKS: ICE PLANET BARBARIANS is the first book in the Ice Planet Barbarians series.STAR RATING: I give this book 4 stars for its inventive premise, engaging characters, and steamy romance.

Good read
I would like to start with that I liked the first book and thats all I've read so far, I would recommend. However, it was horribly frustrating and the main female character was not someone I related to much.I related to her as a reluctant leader with the heavy burden of responsibility, and her gradual feelings for her big blue alien mate...But the way she just left them to suffer in the cold and starving repeatedly pissed me off, she claimed to care but didn't really act like it. The way her and the others "weren't fighters" was hands down the most unrealistic thing ever. I know lots of "passive nonfighter" women and not a single one of them would have stood there and just let the one girl smash the head in of the one basketball head alien after they agreed to all pitch in and fight. And then all of them were just "so terrified" of this new planet!? Heck no, I'd be nervous sure but after the FMC was like these big blue dudes are friendly I'd be like hell yeah! And to get to see a giant alien monster! I'd be scared but more in a adrenaline rush kind of way than a sob myself to sleep way.Anyway I liked it, but just didn't vibe with the way they all reacted to situations

Absolutely enthralling
This is really well written and though some may find the repeating of Vektalās species differences on several occasions too much, I found it just right. I really enjoyed reading both Georgie and Vektalās points of view and laughing as they tried to understand each otherās language. The world building in this book is brilliant considering how short it felt - I read the whole thing in one night! As soon as I finished I bought the second one because I need to know what happens next.I will say before you read the book, read the TW page if you have triggers, I donāt so I didnāt read them but looking over them afterwards I donāt think it will detract from the story to read them as the main ones happen right at the beginning of the book.SPOILERS:Georgie is minding her own business. Sheās a drive through bank teller and leads a quiet life; until sheās abducted from her bed by aliens.Whilst held captive by the grey, and the ābasket ballā aliens, she is placed in a cage with others. The human women are all 22, single, not pregnant, and have no one close to them. After a horrific time aboard the spaceship, thereās some turbulence and the women and Georgie use the distraction to their advantage. Unfortunately, their cargo hold is sent on a crash landing towards an unknown planet - though the women hope itās Earth. With all of them hurt to some degree, they find theyāre on a mountain. The Gil is getting cold, thereās a crack in it which is letting in snow, and they have minimal rations. Itās decided Georgie, with her possibly broken ribs and wrist will be the one to trek out in the snow wearing the only clothing suitable enough for this cold environment.Outside the land is harsh and cold. Georgie begins heading down the mountain in the hope of finding civilisation, hopefully someone, some way, to help them get back to earth. What she finds is a strange alien planet with dangerous creatures. As she tries to escape she gets caught in a hunters trap.Hanging upside down, the blood rushing to her head and fear forcing her heart to pound, Georgie sees a big white furred creature heading for her as she blacks outā¦

Just what I wanted, a good and erotic story.
I really liked this story. I think the storyline is good, deep enough but with erotic and spicy touches. I will definetly look at other stories from this author and I'll probably re-read this story many times!
